St Margretsbury 2-3 Berkhamsted. Almost comical officiating led to both sides finishing with 10 men and a 4:57 finish, i hope the ref gets reported for his inability to control the match sensibly. Berko took an early lead but were soon pegged back then a speculative volley from distance gave Berko a 2-1 halftime lead. Berko stretched into a 3-1 lead with a breakaway goal and a penalty near the end gave Berko a nervous end to the game. Equally as comical as the ref was the pottymouth St Margertsbury managers reaction to being asked to keep his swearing under control to which he hopped over the rails and headed down the hard standing towards the Berko bench having to be held back by substitutes and a rather large guy who i guess must be their dietician.

Stony 2-0 Kentish.

Couldn't make Amothills game due to commitments so took in Stony game, goal either side of half time, late Kentish penalty which the Stony No.29 saved well.....but as I am not committed to either club can add, red cars either side and officials were.....erm censored shall we say

Welwyn Garden City 2 Mill End Sports 1

City came from a goal down to snatch a win in the 89th minute. Not the best of displays but a win is a win.

Special mention to referee Lee Jessop, excellent, kept his cards in his pocket and communicated with the players at all times. What a difference a week makes, no excessive paperwork for me this week.

4-1 Hanwell Town v Hadley :D

Goal scorers= J.Spence 3 goals and D.Haule 1 goal.

A great performence by the whole team today especially the first half but for me our stand out players were D.Worman who on his day looks a class player, D.Haule who made the difference upfront today and J.Spence who was superb today and he now has 10 goals for the season. Our two new signings played well today and look like they will be useful signings.

A great day :D

Almost comical officiating

He couldn't have been any worse than the comical one we had today. If these fellas want Respect they should at least read a rule book before they pull the black kit on.

Beat me to it Scottie, although one of the linos had a bit of a mare as well. - midway through the second half as one of our lads was shielding the ball out for what he thought was a goal kick, the lino said "its a corner if it goes." Our player stopped the ball about a foot short of the line & he flagged and gave the corner. When everyone said the ball wasn't out his reply was "I know!"

Spot on with your comments on the ref....i dont know if you were aware but he was being assessed....everytime that happens they start doing silly things!

On the subject of the manager something must have been said to him for that kind of reaction!! Leave that one up to your imagination.

Officials did not have a good game at all. The biggest problem was that the ref did not take control of the game.

Ref off Ref ........ I was talking to a gentleman just before the Kentish Town penalty who said he was a neutral fan dont suppose that was you was it?

RESERVE DIVISION TWO

4-2 Totternhoe Reserves v Welwyn Garden City Reserves

Sorry for the confusing tweets. Two separate people said we were playing Bletchley reserves & given the awful orange kit I didn't think any different. Got there with about 35 mins to go on my way to Dunstable Town and it was 0-0. Welwyn went 2-0 up with both goals on the break but apparently Totternhoe should have been 3 or 4 up by this point.missing 2 clear cut chances in between the visitors goals. The home side made a couple of subs but straight away a Welwyn forward missed an open goal. Within a minute one of the Totternhoe replacements made his impact running clean through and finishing his 1 on 1 well.. Every cross into the box was causing Welwyn all sorts of trouble. It was inevitable this would lead to a goal at some point and one of the Welwyn defenders duly obliged to get the equaliser.

Totternhoe carried on the pressure and took the lead within a couple of minutres before scoring a 4th from yet another cross into the box, cue wild celebrations in the Kop End :yay:

Brief report from another disappointing draw. But must say having had to cope pretty much all season a severely depleted 1st team we aren't doing bad considering. If we can get to full strength for a good run we will be alreeeeeet pet.

Hope that wasn't about me, might go back to senior footie after having to do doggies at left mid! Still 1-0 win and an assist, all good. Then Jimmy greaves and gazza to round it off!
