MFC vs Wingate & Finchley match preview

Not that i'ii stay awake frettig over it;but on the basis that this is emphasised as the first ryman l;eague meeting-is the implication that we have played wingate before either in a cup game or another league at sometime in our respective histories ?

We've never played Wingate, Finchley or Wingate & Finchley in a competitive game before. Did play a friendly against Leyton-Wingate circa 1990 though.

We definately need a win today. One league win at home & 5 losses (3pts out of a possible 18) is no-where near good enough, especially when consider that we have had the bulk of the play in most of those games & created numerous chances in front of goal.

Now that even our away form has started to go to pot a home win is "vital".

Lets hope that today & "at last" lessons will have been learnt & that the players "concentrate" 100% for the full 90 minutes.

My first game for a while (which is unusual for me) so I'm hoping things will change for the better today.
