Someone told me the guernsey players take you out at night and show you the town!!

Which 'town' ??

St Peter Port ?

St Sampsons ?

St Martins ?

Cobot Bay ?

La Saline ??

(I do know a lovely little Indian restaurant..........................)

St. Peter port is known as town by us locals. We have lots of great restaurants, inc. a few Indians. Can't beat a good curry!

Guys,

You will love Town (St Peter Port) Amazing restaurants some of the best food you will ever taste be it Steak or fish, all the pubs are close together never more than 2 min walk to any of them, theres only about 4 night clubs and they aren't the biggest you will ever see.

Plenty of honeys and i mean plenty, over all you should be well taken care of by GFC and plenty to do in the night time and as GD says if its Bedfont at the end of the season and your both promoted it will be a hell of a party as all of Guernsey will no doubt be celebrating.

I was at the game as a neutral and thought it was an absolutely cracking game and a great advert for the Combined Counties (Unlike Windsor v Spelthorne Sports last Monday!) Both teams were an absolute credit to their clubs and everybody involved can be proud of their contribution. Chatting to the Sky guys after the final whistle they were also very impressed with what they had witnessed, and we'll be able to see what they made of it on Saturday at about 14:30.

We went over for the weekend and were on the same flight as the Feltham lads, match officials and Sky Sports crew. We also saw some of the Feltham boys enjoying the bright lights of St Peter Port in the evening.

Guernsey is an incredibly beautiful place, and the great weather was also a welcome bonus for November. Lots of stuff to see, and it was certainly very poignant visiting the Occupation Museum on Remembrance Sunday.

If any of you get the chance to make the trip I urge you to take it. One of my best footballing weekends ever.

As far as I was concerned it was just about the worst game I have seen this season. I thought Windsor were very poor, Spelthorne were certainly good value for their win. Only towards the end, after making a couple of substitutions, did Windsor look like they could string more than a couple of passes together.

This is just my opinion and I accept that others may well have seen the game differently.

Did I sell you a programme??

A word of credit also to yesterday's team of ball boys who this week came from Rovers AC. They did a good job and concentrated well.

Roll on next Saturday for me and a trip to Warlingham.

Not unless you are a pair of 12 year old lads!
