brunty is not a bad skipper and did a decent job at Hartley but I think he is much better without the pressure. Some players thrive on the responsibility and it tends to raise their game but for others it has a negative effect ! (In my opinion)

defo negative for redders he was awful the other night shanks all over the place, brunty was class though no 360 i think i am one who thrives on it though even when not wearing the arm band or not in squad through injury (redders) i still like to lead an believe i am skipper just the way i am!!!

Don't know if ur taking the pi$$or not newby lol thought I played pretty average on wednesday. Playing against a good side tho.

Well thats one way of looking at it but that is JJ and he is the exeption to the rule because of his lifestyle and he is probably fitter than most youngsters,you can't use JJ as an example because when you are his age you will probably have hung your boots up so go for it now and I think you will be surprised look at Tommy he has made the step up and is doing really well.
