brunty is not a bad skipper and did a decent job at Hartley but I think he is much better without the pressure. Some players thrive on the responsibility and it tends to raise their game but for others it has a negative effect ! (In my opinion)

defo negative for redders he was awful the other night shanks all over the place, brunty was class though no 360 ;) i think i am one who thrives on it though even when not wearing the arm band or not in squad through injury (redders) i still like to lead an believe i am skipper just the way i am!!!

See Brunty,thats your problem,too meek and mild to be a skipper.Now Redders on the other hand is to brash and flash,to be skipper.Newby on the other hand,leads by example,talker,organizer,encourager,everything a skipper needs to be.
