Indeed it was their cup final. Goal and point celebrated wildly on the pitch and by the care in the community support. The penalty was an absolutely shocking decision and lead to probably there shot on goal.

The positives, defence looked extremely solid, coyne in the form of his life and burnell amongst

the goals.

Good point against a side who have a habit of upsetting the bigger sides.

Good point though against a side doing well and who have a habit

Bedworth won tonight and go top Makes it even more important for us to pick up all the points on Saturday as St Neots have 2 games in hand.A disappointing result tonight as we put 4 past them on their own ground last season.

Anyway, a point against a much improved team, and we were solid yet again. Even though we were robbed of the 3 points, giving AFC Hayes recent results, a point is a good result there tonight!

I applaud the management and players for keeping their cool at the end, they are a credit to the club! God knows what the reaction would have been like if that decision against AFC Hayes!

So, a 3rd of the way through the league season, best defence and 30 points!

Not a bad start, here's to another 30 points in the next 14 games!

Bring on St Neots!

COYR!

Absolutely fuming. We were robbed by the officials who were without doubt the worst I have ever seen. Warrington made a great save (the deviation in the path of the ball was clear from the far end of the pitch) and the officials give a penalty! unbelievable!

If the ref had let the game flow Abbey would have been through on goal in the first half, not to mention the many questionable offsides and free kicks for both teams given after players just slipped.

I hope that assessor in the crowd noted all of it!

We were good value for the win and played well while restricting Hayes to only one or two shots on target.

Hopefully Saturday will bring us some decent officials who don't ruin what is sure to be a good game.

And the less said about what happened at the end with the no ground comments the better. I would rather have our support than have that!

Bizarrely the penalty was given by the assistant who was convinced it was a foul from the opposite side of the pitch!

That makes it even worse as the ref probably had the best possible view from where he was standing! He should have stood up to the plate and made his own decision!
