To add my twopenn'orth, Spelthorne played some very nice football and deserved the win.

Windsor played a below strength team but not massively so. O'Toole and Romeo came on for the last 15 and suddenly things changed for us. Too little too late but I think if they'd started it would probably have been a different result.

Good luck to Spelthorne!

spethorne wholly deserved the result, they defended doggedly throughout and the second goal was a great example of how to attack on the counter, cracking finish too.

yash romeo scored a screamer right at the death but it was really too little too late by then and the result wasnt really in doubt. credit to spelthorne, windsor were poor, lacking anything to hold the ball up front really, but spelthorne played superbly throughout and wanted it a lot more. good luck in the next round!!

Rother, Matt. ''Windsor played a below strength team''..... this could be worrying, as it could be deemed that Windsor are struggling with depth in their squad ? No O'Toole, no victory ?

Maybe. It's not a big squad and Alex Jeffers has only played 30 mins football since he joined us - he will add some strength in depth to the forward line when fit. (Assuming he stays around.)

Truthfully either one of O'Toole or Romeo would have made a difference to the starting line up but both were rested so we were pretty toothless, (especially so after Abitogun got a bang on the head after 10 minutes and hardly knew where he was until subbed at half time).

Resting the strikers is fine by me as they are obviously scoring for fun in the League and I guess it makes sense to keep them, of all players, as fresh as can be for the winter slog.

That's my take on it anyway...
