AFC Hayes vs Slough Town

Nathan

Recommended Posts

Now that all the fun and excitement from the "let's have a go at the heretic Nathan" day has worn off (hopefully! :) ), anybody care to say what they think is going to happen tonight?

Personally I think that we'll take the lead and be in control, yet not make our dominance count and concede somewhere around half-time against the run of play. I think we'll spend alot of the second half trying to find a way through their defence, and end up grabbing a goal out of nothing and cruising until the end, possibly getting a third along the way.

F/T score prediction: 2-1 to Slough.

There I've put my cards on the table. Of course if we end up being winning more comfortably than I have predicted, then nobody will be happier then I!

For what it's worth I'm going for us to win 2-0 with goals from Sonner and Sinclair. And just to add about the team, should be the same as Saturday's end of. Winning team with solid performances from 1 to 11. I can't honestly see what all the fuss on this forum is about.

absolutely disgraceful combined performance throughout by the 3 officials. lost count how many ridiculous decisions were made

so so bad all game for both sides and then one of worst pen decisions cost us the win that went against all logic and dumbfounded the whole ground but the donkeys wearing black

Its quite a common theme this season! Lets hope they are better on Saturday.

I agree with you Gary but if any of us got as many decisions wrong as the officials did last night in our day job's, our feet wouldn't touch the ground... I can accept human error but last night was sheer incompetence!

The penalty decision aside, the linesmen were giving offside decisions when the they were 10 yards behind the play, it beggars belief!
