Sean Sonner

Congratulations to Sonner! what a credit to the club he has been

I agree he deserves the accolades for getting to 100 appearances but sometimes he behaves intolerably by doing some nasty challenges when there's no need for it. I appreciate his work rate and constant effort but don't like his somewhat cowardly malicious side and his constant fffing and blinding.

So when you say he is a credit to the club,Mr Rebel,I don't happen to agree with you. There's no doubt he's been a good acquisition to the team at this level and on his day can be a right handful for the right reasons.I just wish he would grow up a bit,not in height but stature as a footballer/man !

Unbelievable! Keep doing what you do, Sean. First name on the team sheet in my opinion.

Well,Ian, it is about opinions.

I just happen to differ in the sort of player I like and hold in terms of respect and esteem.

Mr Rebel said ' Sean Sonner is credit to the club ', I really can't see this. I'm not saying he's a ineffective footballer and as a forward he does puts in a shift upfront but for me his temperament sucks, which let's him down[and the club] and that is my opinion!

I don't disagree it's frustrating but I think Sean is one of those players where if you try and take one aspect of his game away he'd be less of a player overall. His temperament comes from the fact he cares and that's why I'd rather have him as he is.

Sean Sonner.

He might not be the best player we have or the best striker but I struggle to think of anyone in todays game who cares as much or puts in as much effort as him. He might not get 20 goals a season but he will create so many chances for himself and others.

He runs around up front, he runs around in midfeild and he runs back to defend and then puts in a tackle which any defender would be proud of to win the ball back.

100 appearances so far and I for one would be more than happy to see him get another 100 for slough.

Sean Sonner's work rate is phenomenal. He gives a [censored] and is enjoying his football; for those not on twitter he wrote 'never enjoyed my football so much a pleasure 100 more hopefully!!' and for that he is always going to be a fans favourite. We moan about players outbursts, but us supporters are 100 times worse - as Chris S. said in another post, we'd all be red carded most Saturdays for our outbursts!
