How you can you say HW wont win all their games in hand?

Winning 6 games in hand in a row will be impossible. They will have a fixture pile up so they will be tired.

Shame HARTLEY HAVE NOT GOT A 2 WEEK WINTER BREAK OVER CHRISTMAS,or maybe the League could arrange it?

Then they would have even more games to catch up with......Engage/Think/Write........

Will be interesting to see what happens this weekend in the Eversley v Warlingham game, big game for both teams who are in good runs, a win would put either team in a great position.......it's got a draw written all over it!!

Eversley have only won twice at home all season and seem to have struggled against the so called 'better' sides so although I'm tipping them to finish in third place and despite a comfortable win against Sheerwater on Sat, I do think that Warlingham will win this one but it'll be a close game. Can see the other top 7 teams all winning again this weekend so I guess there's a lot riding on the outcome of this match in particular.

Very true ! I didn't think of that !

Please give Hartley a winter break, they might have to play 3 or 4 games every week to catch up ! :hysterical:

So may Guernsey if they progress to 2 Cup Finals

We have depth in our squad to cope.

Is the Egham game home or away mate......

In 2002/3, AFC Wimbledon had a one point lead in the table fairly late in the season (maybe March?) and Withdean 2000 had something like ten games in hand which they had to shoehorn into the last few weeks. I think they won almost all of them and went on to win the league at a canter, not to mention the cup (sorry johnno!).

I just think Hartley have enough quality and strength in depth to get the points in the bag although I do believe having your last 8 games at home will play a major part in the title race.

Well if 2002/3 was the last time a club did it the probability of someone ( Hartley ) doing it again will be remote.

GD - what's the prognosis on Ben Coulter ? Will Div 1 of the CCL never see our 2nd best player (after Zico) ?

Got to say HW look a threat and I heard they were good value for the 2-2 at their place. Tend to agree with you though that GFC will win on the 26th and HW will find it tough to win all games in hand. Need to find a silly hat to wear this w/e for the Sky cameras.....

I don't know where this fixture pile-up will be.

There are 23 Saturdays and 3 bank holiday dates left for football this season - more available if Div 1 runs into May. Hartley have 24 league games to play. Only one of those is scheduled for mid-week. They've even got the luxury of playing their Division 1 cup game at Eversley on a Saturday.

Gotta remember Division 1 is four teams lighter than it could be so not as many games.

Personal opinion, played both Guernsey and Hartley but I thought overall Hartley were better. Guernsey are a VERY GOOD side but I've seen HW a few times this season and have been so impressed. Both teams will go up 1st and 2nd I believe. Like Gilesy in Guernsey it could be a whole new ball game and to be honest I don't think anyone will beat them at home. Just think these two teams in my opinion are head above the rest.

the almighty tigger watched your game against guernsey, and they ran you over the park. ross allen for once forgot to bring his shooting boots but still notched 2. think your just looking for a reaction no 2!

I think the difficult thing with so many games in hand is that you don't get to play them one after the other. Everyone else is still playing. Hartley will no doubt drop more points against the teams around them before they have made up all their games. They could be to far behind by the time they make up all their games. I hope I'm wrong as id prefer Hartley to win the league.
