Disciplinary record-pretty good

No doubt somewhere on the official site-all the specific statistical info is available; but simply on 'gut feel' ;am i coorect in thinking that overall-MFC's disciplinary record has been pretty good so far this season.

In itself-of no great merit at this stage-but could well pay dividends later on as points begin to mount up at other clubs and they lose key players to suspensions.

(yes i know CR is banned on tuesday, and stubbs gor red carded a few weeks ago, but overall-it seems to me to be better than normal at this stage of the season )and better than of previous seasons.

Maybe the stats would prove me wrong.

(Equally-i guess inevitable now that two will get red cards on tuesday !!!).

If CK and JL have installed the need to keep calm -and keep on the pitch -then credit to the management team accordingly

Just had a look-in fact official site does not (i perhaps have missed it ) record yellow/red cards.

Not easy to keep it updated i'm sure-but maybe in time-this bit of info could be added to the myriad of other statistical info available to us ?

back to main point of post-is our overall record better (by which i mean fewer red/yellolw cards) this season than of late

I had a similar feeling but hadn't tried to confirm it until now.

I try to keep track of cards in the programmes but this is generally reliant on my observation so may not be 100% accurate. By my score, after 20 games in all competions this season we have collected 21 yellow card and 1 red (15 and 1 in the 12 league games). At the same stage last season we had 28 yellows and 4 reds (16 and 3 in 14 league games). So a definite improvement on last season.

By my tally no player other than Curtis has collected more than 2 yellows yet this term.

The club's policy is NOT to record player disciplinary information on the official website.

The Ryman League Bulletin (there's a weekly link on the clubs main website)has the disciplinary card count of all the teams in the prem, north and south. It's not every week but there was definitely a disciplinary update either in last weeks bulletin or the week before that
