Ok.....

 

So, dan Bennett did his trickery, step overs etc and got to the bye line just inside the box. Having just had Ian Selley come on for an injured Eddie Smith, this allowed me a bit of an opportunity to burst forward knowing we had cover in midfield. Rolling back the years to my Farnbro days as a striker, I lost my marker and hit the near post area where Bennett crossed for an unmarked Johnston to head home with a diving bullet of a header! 3-2 to Chertsey and thinking I'd won the tie with my goal. Little did I know that the lads felt like giving Spencer the grey hair treatment! Spencer was kind enough to return the favour and give the players the hair dryer treatment in the changing rooms after!

 

Not scored for a while so was unsure of a celebration. Just did the Rooney one after his bicycle kick. Except my goal was better! :-)

Sorry mate. You score amazing goals most weeks so just felt like a normal day at the office for Phil Page! Johnno making it into the opposition 18yd box is rare! Pagey scoring worldies is NOT, although yes it was a great LEFT footed goal ! Shame we can't defend ! Boss wasn't a happy bunny!

Wish i'd have been there Pagey was coming right to the last moment then changed my mind (again) and plumped for Frimley against Hounslow,Koo said JJ's goal was lucky as it hit him on the back of the head and just made it over the line whereas yours was goal of the season so far.Frimley game was ok but they are very unfit and need some hard training to get in shape, Dan Simmonds scored the only goal of the game with the very last kick after he missed an earlier penalty, quite a few new faces for the Green just hope they can make it every week and not just when they feel like it but well done as it was a very important 3 points.

Duncs I used to think u was my good luck charm.... Ahhhh well, u should know never to bet against a chertsey game guaranteed goals!!!

 

It was so funny johnno just tripped the ball smashed his face and it ended up in the net!!! There was a element of shock from everyone!!! Haha
