having seen the last 4or 5 results i would think the sheerwater mob must be put in the mix .i think 16 for 58 against dosent look good !! i thougt at the beginning of the season they shifted the old squad out and got a new set in kinda think should have left it alone lol !!!!!

Div 1 Sheerwater and two out of about five

 

It seems to me that the football in the woking area is getting, weaker watched the westfield v sheerwater game last week and to be honest both teams looked poor even though westfield clobbered sheerwater and then i see sheerwater get stuffed 8nil !!

 

just wondered if there are to many teams in the woking area playing senior football and not enough players to go round !

To be honest the games against Westfield, Eversley and Bedfont have been hard to bare for all of us and probably my most depressing time in football. That doesn't mean we give up or get the boot, we just need to prove that we can fix it.

the thing is guys you state a valid response to a thread and people like yv cops the hump. Well people shouldnt put statements on here that can come back and bite them from behind. He stated that they had culled the players that they needed to and brought in players to make them a better squad and as of this moment in time we can all see like his prediction for the weekends game against bedfont sports (which is only for fun) he aint got it quite right! LOL !!!

 

On the hard to bear bit and watching various different games not just the ones statted about it is something that you should be getting used to now. Oh by the way YV who i goingto be the side how lets in 100 oals first his season????? Knaphill maybe? Sheerwater maybe???but i know one thing forsure it wont be westfiled with the back up they have in there reserve side!

NLN- You Obv no who i am, So boring getting us in to your pointless conversations, im sure there a many bitter people out there as well as the guys down there and it seems really easy to point the finger from ur self and others.

 

YV- No Offence the comments you made about me in the summer were pathetic and that shows on the pitch all talk and nothing to back it up i came and saw you at westfield the other week and the team doug had was much better and better organised. But hey thats my opionen, yes yes you can say who are you and what du know, we have started a club from a blank sheet of paper found a home at bisley, sponsers, a committee and a lot of players that are committed to the club and that attend social nights......

think you should have a look at the reserve table and realise that knaphill reserves are only 7 points a drift of westfield having played 3 games less. I think the first team at knaphill we go onto win more games than they lose or draw for sure.

Ant you should have said hello, could of discussed the next charity game.

 

Cookie was unavailable Saturday so Hillsy was in charge.

 

Fitness has been our downfall since we stopped training Tues and Thurs which we had to do due to the athletics club . We are back training twice a week so will help with that as the levels have dropped dramatically as we can all see, you could probably get away with it in a lower division. We had a couple of key players out recently but it matters not as it is about results, not excuses. Onwards and upwards however.

I agree i see knaphill getting stronger now the new chairman has stepped in and stopped the rot by appointing a new management team, makes scence to me,interesting game coming up in the next few weeks proper 6 pointer Sheerwater v Knaphill i just hope both teams have all there players available and are proper fit................

 

In reply to yv just seems strange you were full of it at the begiinging of the season with your new team and your new squad etc then when a topic comes up regarding management looking over there shoulder you seem to get a bit upity about it, if you where honest if you were associated with a team in your position at the moment the management team would be looking over there shoulder..as regards to people throwing there dummies out am i right in thinking at the recent Westfeild game part of your management team(Mr Hills) went stomping off at half time with a face like thunder just what happens in football lets call it passion for the game, its nothing personal yv but having read afew of your post earlier on in thr season perhaps its a case of people in glass houses shouldnt throw stones.......................... .

Dear Mr Offside, I am starting to warm to you seeing as you can actually come back with some sort of argument unlike others that just want to talk a load of rubbish. With regards to the points you have raised, Should I of had no faith nor ambition for our team at the start of the season and just looked forward to being near the bottom?. The team we started with is not the team we have now, but you wouldnt see that as you only look at results from your armchair. There are many other factors to the demise which I am sure other managers have had to face hense why the club normally ends up where we are. A challange for anyone, however we will continue to build the club from the base up. Keeping or attracting players is hard at a club with less to offer than those that surround you. Just look at what Westfield and Knaphill have to offer compared to us. As for looking over our shoulders, I think not, we are all an integral part of the club as a whole not just the football management, we are all pulling together and we understand what we are trying to achieve. You as an outsider will not understand because we are not sharing our plans etc. The results matter to us as people with our pride on the line along with our reputations, however the players have to take a long hard look at themselves. The last three Saturdays results have been very hard to take. The performances before hand have been good but just not good enough.

 

As for Mr Hills, I think you should ask him what that was about, you may get a clip round the ear for your trouble and told to keep your nose out. We who know what happened understand and stick by him.

 

Again I state that if you knew me well enough you would see I am far from 'upity' or anything else you would like to think.

 

'People in glass houses'??? Definition - This means that you should not criticize other people for bad qualities in their character that you have yourself. Not sure where this comes into anything I have done, please correct me before I lose that warmth I started to feel.
