Difference between you and every other poster on here,is your a DOOMONGER,very rarely have a good word to say about C.C.L. Clubs,always looking for answers to questions you pose.You have already stated you do not watch C.C.L.1,and probably C.C.L. Premier if the truth was known.You are like a TIC,an irritation that definitely gets under my skin.So keep trawling the web,for a few more of your snippets of information,that we all await with baited breath,if that pleases you.Why not knock Guernsey and their running track ground,that would be a start,as you always knock the Arena,and Spectrum.

I will also admit to not liking football pitches with running tracks. Can't speak for Guernsey but at least viewing at The Spectrum is better than The Arena owing to the height of the accommodation available.

My dear Smudgeyboy, you really have it in for me.... I'm devastated !

 

I rarely have a good word to say about the CCL ? If you and everyone else like you say, see's it that way then so be it, it's my honest opinion. Please what is wrong with looking for answers ? Infact I think it livens up the site and makes it more interesting, if you feel different so be it....again. Suggestion, as soon as you see a NICE GUY post scroll down and don't read it, 'cos the comments clearly have no interest to you....simples !

 

You clearly haven't a clue, I don't have to declare to you if I go to watch any game, think what you want such idiotic comments. Now young man, go back to the beginning of the season at those posts around that time, you will probably have the time, you will see my comments about the running track around Guernsey pitch where, I stated I can imagine the atmosphere is great when you have around 1500 spectators as opposed to 35-50 at the Arena and Spectrum slight difference. GD, he's done it again ! Smudge you have shot yourself in the foot once again, so please don't drink anymore beer 'cos you will lose it all from the holes in your feet !

For those who don't know I am Mark Broad and I am the Chairman of Badshot Lea FC.I don't post much on here but I do read the site from time to time. Most of the information and banter is good fun but I have finally had enough and felt the need to come on and post.

 

Nice Guy, I don't know who you are and to be honest I am not that bothered but can you tell me what you have against us and why you are always, constantly knocking my club.?

 

For your information, but you probably already know because you know everything, we have not had a 16 man squad for a number of matches this season. In fact at South Park in the Vase and Dorking in the Surrey Senior Cup we only had 12 players. We have struggled this season and you will have seen that from some of our results.

Lee Dyson our assistant manager and coach has recently stepped down and yes Mark Anderson has stepped up from a player position to take the assistant manager role.

 

Yes,We have dual registered a couple of Godalming players who have come in to help us out but will not be permanent fixtures.Loan players if used in the right way are essential to clubs like us when we do not have reserves to call on.

 

What is the problem with us putting in 7 day approaches??

 

Yes we have put in another one (you obviously know who that is............)and I am sure there will be others during the coming weeks.

 

We have lost our influential captain and midfielder Dan Ker to long term injury as well as Keith Emmerson who has left the club and on top of that we have other injuries and suspensions to cover so we have to replace them.

 

What do you expect us to do?

 

Maybe you have other ideas?

....and there's me thinking ''In the Know'' was Fordy ! So you're the bouncer looking guy in the Crombie are you ?

 

I personally have nothing against Badshot Lea, but what I cannot understand is that with some of the very good players you have had in your teams over the last 2-3 seasons, and allegedly with one of the healthiest budgets in the CCL why haven't they done better ? My personal opinion I feel that Badshot Lea have underachieved, whilst being their Chairman and being honest you would agree I'm sure, 'cos I am sure expections are high within your club.

 

You say you have no reserves to call upon. I am somewhat suprised that you have no Youth team yet you have Under 16 downwards which I find strange, so where do the Under 16 go next ? ..... they leave Badshot Lea for another club ? If you had a youth team, you could call upon them for your squad, as opposed to getting players on loan, costing the earth and in reality has no care for your club/team, as its only on a temporary measure. Maybe something worth looking into, its cheaper ?

 

Whilst I acknowledge and understand your comments for THIS season, in the past seasons, all I seem to read is that Badshot Lea have so many players on loan, hence my thread/post/discussion raised on this subject. Personally, I feel this has been Badshot Lea's downfall, as its creates friction amongst the squad, then creates lack of continuity - forever changing personel is disruptive and this maybe the reason for underachieving 'cos there is no doubt you have some very good players. I also appreciate one should always try to bolster and improve one's squad but soon one has to realise that forever changing the team isn't working but I emphasise, this is only my opinion. Loanees isn't the answer, continuity with players is...........all the best for the season.

having seen the last 4or 5 results i would think the sheerwater mob must be put in the mix .i think 16 for 58 against dosent look good !! i thougt at the beginning of the season they shifted the old squad out and got a new set in kinda think should have left it alone lol !!!!!
