I hope to be there courtesy of Gazz Cabs

More importantly has anyone worked out if its Lee-ston, Lay-ston or Lie-ston yet?

I've been there on non footballing business and most people pronounce it as L-ay-ston. Keep an eye on the weather, as it can be affected by fog off the North Sea.

Fog :o don't wanna be any about tomorrow to far to go in midweek to get postponed.

On the plus side at least you won't be sitting in The Bell Hotel in Saxmundham at 2pm pondering your next move  .

Lost 1-0.

A nice ground with some good facilities, and some very good chips! First half very even, and we played some good stuff. Their team seem to also be missing some regulars, but I think over the course of 45 minutes 0-0 at half time was probably fair (despite a good save from Dale, and a referee who missed an obvious penalty - he was applauded by the home crowd at the end - so that probably tells you all you need to know about his performance!)

In the second we seemed to lose our way somewhat. We struggled to pass each other, resorting to hit and hope aimless long balls. When we did get close the 18 yard box everyone wanted to be a hero. Despite these chances I don't think we worked their keeper in the second half.

Most of our attacks came from set pieces, but these were generally woeful - corners didn't beat the first man and all freekicks were shots - regardless of distance out and position on the pitch. As a result we were eventually punished, and despite a late rally and one substitution (Benson for Williams with about 4 minutes to go) we failed to trouble the keeper.

Disappointing to travel that far mid-week and come away with nothing. But hey, new ground, new faces and at least it didn't go to penalties.

Here's to Saturday being somewhat back to normal. Come on you blues.
