recorded their biggest crowd when playing us:

Shame about the lack of home support though in the cup last night. attendance 137 including at least 40 from Chesham that I counted

40 from Chesham ! Wow ... a 15 min journey ..and only 40 !

 

When we visited you in the friendly we took more .....

 

In fact lots of our regulars were missing and many were at Reading Town with the under 18's team ! a game on the same night.

I dont think that many of us were too bothered about the Red Insure Cup to be honest. All the clubs hat played last

night had low attendances, Champions League on TV maybe?

I think it shows the contempt in which most people hold the league cup. You can even look at the team rotation used for last night to get an indication that the squad is being utilised to ensure everyone is sharp for Saturday. The non inclusion of season ticket holders as well will have had aeffect I'm sure when compared to league attendances.

i couldnt make it to the cup game but yeah the match meant next to nothing to me. league promotion is all im worried about now the Trophy and Fa Cup have gone

Funny though - as supporters we'd enjoy it if we got through to the final, like we did with the Ryman League Cup - but it's so many games to get there and I really would prefer to focus on the league, especially when we're in the driving seat. Maybe this is our season to win the B&B anyway?

The League cup needs to be scrapped - keep the Tuesdays free for the inevitable fixture backlog later in the season or for friendlies between clubs to allow for squad rotation and fitness to other players.

 

Yep I'd like to win something and enjoyed the Ryman League Cup win but we are not in the top tier and would need a lot of luck to get there. Most important thing is the league and we now have no unwanted distractions.
