In reply to pitches mabye the last windsor football club Spent a lot of the money it owes on it. As a Egham fan got to say don.t care who wins the league this years has long as it is not Windsor 2011 or what your calling yourself these days

Guess I'd possibly feel the same in your position but it does come across as a bit churlish. Most of us at Windsor are just happy we have a team to support and have no arrogance / lofty expectations, and every team gets a friendly welcome from all and sundry connected with the club.

If we happen to win it then great for us but I'm just enjoying the football and am impressed with the quality - very much looking forward to home and away against you guys.

As far as I'm concerned, may the best team win the league and hearty congratulations will be due, whoever it may be.

Sorry Rother it was not the way to get my point across wot im trying to Say is i as a supporter of Egham i feel a bit stiched up not by Windsor but by the F.A What chance have we really got of promotion if they drop teams like yourself into our league with one promotion place which has to be one of the biggest jokes going anyway. So when you come on here saying Windsor are the best at this and Windsor are best at that please understand as a suporter of my club for over 25 years if you win promotion we will have been shafted again.

Regarding pitches, Wembley is very good as is Sandhurst. To be fair, most pitches in the CCL are prefectly reasonable.

Interesting stats earlier about the leading teams but to be honest, Windsor are NOT the finished article yet and the favourites have to be Guildford, Egham and HV who have experience of the CCL. Windsor will challenge but at this stage, lets leave it at that.........

hanworth have the goalscorers without a shadow of a doubt to get them promoted king an shennan are two finishers with phelan an antonio two very good back ups

Very true, but they are always vulnerable to conceeding goals. All it needs is for those 2 strikers to be suspended, injured, become unavailable then things could change, but as they are, other clubs should fear them ......... momentum along with that comes confidence which in football is a great unseen thing............. !

Same comment re strikers undoubtedly applies to Windsor with Romeo and O'Toole. (Even though we won 7-1 with O'T last week.)

Just to set record a little straighter here - I am NOT over-confident and assuming Windsor will brush all aside in the coming months, merely analysing current form / trends in an unbiased assessment to add to Bomaya's contribution re points per game.

Four of the top sides were in the Vase today. Camberley, Horley and Wembley took advantage with good wins.

PPG-wise, the league table tells the truth with the exception of Hanworth Villa who are in second on a point per game basis.

On Tuesday, Windsor could go top with any win away to Farnham whilst eight play ninth as South Park could go to Badshot Lea.

Isn't football a great game. 2 sides yesterday intent on playing football which made the match officials' job that much easier. We could have won by more yet Epsom could so easily have equalised. Well done everyone and thanks for a great afternoon!

Always fascinating to see the ppg table as this usually gives a pretty accurate reflection of where the title is going. Although we've (Windsor) been on a good run recently its clear if we're going to come above Guildford we're going to have to replicate the form shown by the old WEFC side which won the Southern S/W division a couple of seasons ago.

As for yesterday’s game, when I stepped out my house yesterday afternoon and realised how windy it was I did fear the worst and expected a poor game, but fair play to both sides they kept the ball on the deck and didn't let the conditions affect the game too much.

Also fair play to the Epsom keeper, he may have got some ribbing about his lack of height but he actually had a good game and dealt with the any high balls that came his way.

And finally well done to the ref, I hardly noticed him which is usually a sign of a good referee.

PPG table:

1. Guildford 2.35

2. Windsor 2.1

3. Hanworth V 2.06 (6th)

4. Egham 2.05

5. Camberley 1.9

6. South Park 1.72 (7th)

7. Horley 1.7

Red text indicates teams in better position than league table suggests and of course it's because both teams have had cup runs. Many will point out though that this usually results in a long tiring season where league form can suffer. Points in the bag > points to make up etc.
