Oldest Players?

Hearing a topic on the Non League Show, it got me thinking of the oldest players to have turned out for the mighty Rebels. I'm sure there are others, but the only one that springs immediately to mind is former England international Kenny Sansom, who I believe was well in to his 40s when he played a handful of games for us back under Brian McDermott in the Conference.

 

Can anyone else think of similar players?

Sansom, born in September 1958, was 37 when he appeared for us in the 95/96 season.

 

I believe, although could be wrong, Steve Daly, Brian Connor and Paul Telfer have beaten that "record" in the past few seasons although I am sure Terry Reardon or Keith White played into their late forties.

Alan Judge was certainly 45+ when he turned out for us a few times in the Denton era, if we're including goalkeepers.

surprised the mighty Roy Gumbs hasnt been mentioned was he not 40/41 when he last played.

Didn't Mark West played a few times as manager? Had to be knocking on a bit.

i believe Joe Arpino played in goal many years ago when he was manager.Must have been getting on a bit.

Rod Hader played 82/83 season fa cup game (scarbourgh) 45ish
