DO PLAYER LOANS ACTULLY HELP CLUBS ?

NICE GUY

Recommended Posts

The infamous Badshot Lea are at it again, forever the player loan club..... do you think that by getting loan players helps a team ?

Mark Anderson has become Badshot Lea's new assistant manager, not sure if he is player/assistant tho' ? I suppose he could be !

Wes Harrison is yet another loanee from Godalming to Badshot, whilst ex: Godalming and Walton & Hersham's Glenn Stanley has recently signed for them but that will be short lived........... you heard it here first folks !

Another ex: loanee Matt Pegler has been and returned back to Woking.

So all these constant repeated changes, are they good for a club ??

Your thoughts please............interesting !

For me there's only one beneficary........

i think they somtimes upset the apple cart, we used to have staines academy kids when at staines lammas come in an then a regular would then be dropped for in my eyes other than jordan kiffin a player no better than any player in our squad at that time. i think it only suits a player an possibly if a manager wants to give his squad a kick up the ass we had a couple of players walk out of the dressing room after being bombed for the staines academics!!!

I don't see any problem with it, especially if a club is struggling, AND suffering injury problems.

Fine as long as the system isn't abused !

BJR, I take it you are refering to Dorking loanee's last season, where they finished 3rd from bottom and technically should have been relegated ?

Not at all NG.

We currently have agreements regarding loans in and loans out with specific clubs.

Yep, you heard it here first folks ! Yep, more to come, especially the subject of managers, so watch this space ! Don't worry Spencer your safe...lol !!!

Ha ha Chertseytown, now that would be telling........lol !

apologies to beg to differ jr, but i dont have, never have had, and never will have loan players IN it is, in my opinion one of the most disruptive things you can do do your dressing room, and contributes to "billy big chops" syndrome. we do however have an arrangement with brockham fc, who i beleive play in the surrey elite league, for our squad players to be loaned OUT to obtain 90 mins of football. during our current injury "crisis" we have not loaned players in, but have promoted five from our very productive youth system. rant over. !!! cu later. bucks.

rubbish!! i would not take him on loan, he signed for us, unless my interpretation from Ray Collins was wrong, but my honest understanding was he left leatherhead and signed for us, a fact that im sure Terry himself will clarify, plus he only played about six games ! think my point surely though must be acknowledged i dont agree with it and we stayed up last year with our squad, not loanees. (and a helping hand from the league) lol

Loan players kept Bedfont Green in the CCL Prem a few years back when Bob Betts, Myself and Ian were running it...

Loan players help on the injury front, but I disagree with bringing them in to replace a player short term,if the player your replace is to poor get rid! Go and trawl the leagues around you and do your homework.A young/new manager will find it harder as manager needs a good phone book(thompson local/yellow pages won't help)going and watching a good Sunday league will help.

I recently went on loan to chertsey and played 2 resy games and 3 1st team games.I gave my all in every game,I have my own pride and reputation to keep! It depends on the player being loaned and the reasons behind it,

When I spoke to Terry on the phone, he told me how much the Dorking Chairman was paying him and that was part of Leatherheads wage if not all......... now we all know players b*ll s*it so that could be the case in this instance ???
