Interesting reading in the first few pages about a complaint from Local Britwell (independant) complaining about the lack of faclities for the youngsters of Britwell, having no play areas or anywhere to go !!!

Was this the same councillor who oppossed the move of Slough Town Football Club to Britwell ?

How strange....if is was not one of the councillors who oppossed the move to Britwell, then I apologize....

However if this is a serious problem it is most important that the football club , local residents and coucillors to see if the re generation of Britwell can be to all the residents requirements... we want to see it all incorperated together to please everyone..

Its was such a funny article after all the smoke screen put up by the local britwell independant councillors and some of the local residents...

We should work together.......and get the best for all parties....

including the children of Britwell.....

regards chris

you're learning Chris....never surprised only ever disappointed is my motto....

politicians are politicians because they couldn't survive in a normal commercial environment...they're all compulsive liars and hypocrites....

once you understand that the rest is plain sailing.... <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

[color:"blue"]Dear Wexham Resident,

Get Real.

We are primarily LOCAL BRITWELL RESIDENTS and your football stadium is certainly NOT the best solution for our community.

You want to steal our green space for your greedy "multi-million pounds commercial development". You reject Belfast Stadium because there is no space for shops and a hotel.

As a resident I totally oppose your scheme for a football stadium with one pitch, 3 more pitches, shops, offices, hotel and housing. By the way what happened to Deaner's wish for a casino?

I've already stated my personal belief that Kennedy Park belongs to the people of Britwell and should not be stolen and abused by a tiny bunch of selfish football supporters - the same football supporters who twice rejected my genuine offer to intervene in the Thorne-Deaner dispute.

Your only hope for this mad scheme is Labour remaining in power at next year's local elections.

Slag me off as you already have done in public but you will not alter my opinion as a Britwell resident that your selfish attempt to steal my community's green space for your commercial greed is NOT in the best interests of local residents.

Go back to Wexham Park before it is too late and you lose everything.

Interesting that the last post was in a personal capacity---might well indicate that either the Britwell Independants, or BLLD, or both, take a different line.Perhaps they see the benefits that could come out of the scheme.

In reply to Mr Janik,I can only say what Casino? Please do stop spreading untrue rumours unless you have some real evidence.

The rest we've all been through before, and no doubt will again bcos you never listen.

As a Wexham Resident...Yes we would like it back here ! You tried to offer as a go between The Thornes and the council !!! Utter Rubbish...

You don't no the half of the problems and we will still have the problem of South Bucks County Council ..don't tell me you can help us there too!

We have had problems for 30 years with them and that is maybe the biggest problem we can not get planing permission on this site for a new tolilet from them so god knows how you are going to help us back at Wexham Park Stadium !!!

Get real...here you go again whipping up un truths about the scheme and as I stated we and the local residents should get together to ensure plans are put in place for the future of the locals and their families...In other big town's the football clubs are becoming the centre's of their Towns ! giving a place for all to share !

As for the park area you call the Green space that should be preserved ! We all know that this area needs proper management and proper landscaping..wait to see what is destined for this area and surly can only be better..than it is now..a dust bowl and car dumping ground !

Some of your fellow britwellens may have other ideas than you too....as per the local article in the Slough Observer this week...maybe they just might want to work in favour of some plans to improve the lifes of the young in Britwell !

Up The rebels......

Having moved from Britwell two years ago I went back to Kennedy Park recently to take my kids to the fun fair.

As we drove into the park the first sight we saw was a fire engine extinguishing a fire from a car abandoned in one corner of the park adjoining Long Furlong Drive.

If Mr Janik and his colleagues think that this is an acceptable use of Kennedy Park and wish to preserve it in its current state, I'm glad we took the decision to move.

[color:"blue"]Wrong. As a member of an ad-hoc committee to attempt to resolve the problem(s) Between Thorne and Deaner.

[color:"red"]We have had problems for 30 years with them and that is maybe the biggest problem we can not get planing permission on this site for a new toilet from them so god knows how you are going to help us back at Wexham Park Stadium !!!

[color:"blue"]I understand from SBDC the last planning submission was last year. That wasn't for a toilet. All the records are available for public viewing at SBDC's Windsor Road offices.

[color:"red"]Up The rebels......

[color:"blue"]Long live Kennedy Park.

This will not become a slanging match Mr Janik..

I spoke with Alan/Byron Thorne last week, they don't even know who you are !

As for plans at South Bucks county council, we know there were plans for modification to the exsisting stadium, and these were provisional approved, however to install another toilet block inside the ground were blocked !

This leads me to believe all your purpose in life seams to be negative.....

We understand change is hard for the human race to take on board ! Sometimes change is for the good !!!!! and not so negative as all your arguements seam to be on ....

Our views and thoughts are for our towns benifit and just maybe also yours one day...stop being so negative and wait and see what the plans are.....

Also as I said before, wishes of the local residents should also be looked into and to see what can be added to their requests for some re generation in this area..

Up the Rebels........
