In normal circumstances would be delighted with an away point on a wet tuesday night in essex;so just about ok; but with lack of league games forthcoming (not thsat i mind that assuming we progress in the cups ) am i the only one feeling a bit disappointed that its not 3 points as realistically-unlikely we will gwet anything at Lewes (need at least a point now from that game ) and with no other league games for a couple of weeks-we could be overtaken by a few teams below us and be in bottom 4 in two weeks time-which we will climb away from-but it does give an added pressure and nervousness to players and supporters alike.

 

Best cure would be an unlikely win at Lewes

Would say tonight was a point won rather than 2 lost.

 

For those of you who intend to visit Concord in the future I would suggest 3 pieces of equipment you take with you:

 

1) A strong eau de toilet to put on a tissue to place around your nose.

 

2) A Deck chair to avoid a crick in your neck.

 

3) A large amount of sympathy to give to 'ARTHUR' as the goalie always blame ARTHUR.

A decent point. That may well be a tougher game than either Bury or Lewes. Concord are in a bit of a false position and signed three new players last week. Very direct and uncompromising, this match was not for the faint-hearted. But we matched them physically and almost won it near the end with a Johnson 20-yard shot that hit the post. But, in truth, a draw was a fair result.
