We drop to 4th, one point behind Biggleswade, Bedworth and St Neots who are tied on 24 points, all on 11 games played. Beaconsfield are 5th, a point behind us.

Given how close it is at the moment what might be key this season is how we perform against the teams around us at the top. It's not something we've been that good at in the last couple of seasons but if we can change that it'll make a huge difference.

 

Starting in November, in the space of eight games we have St Newts, Biggleswade, Bedworth and SYCOB. It's still early (ish) but that run of games could dictate a lot in terms of how our season pans out.

definitely no standout team threatening to break clear early on ala Hitchin last season (though that didnt turn into automatic promotion).

 

we just need to make sure we are top 3 or 4 still going into next year. in touch of the top and as few poor results as we can.

Agree with Ian need to beat the top 4 when we got to the play off final I believe we did it without any league wins against the other play off teams!
