Are Ampthill top of the suspensions league then, Pete The Greek? As well as being warned for continuously and monotonously disregarding the Respect campaign by abusing match officials on this forum?

how many have sun postal had sent off ?

Currently have 3 players with match-based suspensions of which one has two separate suspensions.

There are 3 others with Sine Die suspensions which would appear to be ex-players.

wow i see langford have got 8 players banned wow

6 of the 8 are Sine Die and from the summer of earlier so unlikely that these players are still at the Club.

The other 2 have been picked up this season in the SSML and will have been served within the next few days.

Ref Off Ref - You said it, so you admit there are disciplinary issues at the Club then

Rhodes, you nosey c**t, admitted nothing in my post, had some poor decisions go against us so that's not an admittance in any shape or form.

Stick to reading graffiti in the traps mate, that's about your level

i will be the first to admit there has been some disciplinary problems on the pitch with red cards . and i am only saying 1 red was a mistake the rest all have something behind them . but this problem is for me to sort out and i will . after having meetings about this with our players every body knows were they stand now . we need to stop moaning at the refs and get on with our game i have always said it will take a very good side to beat us on our day but some times we beat our selfs . lets hope we can put all this behind us and carry on with our season .

Well you've only had two narrow League defeats so far this season so you must be doing something right

  • 2 weeks later...

Crawley Green 1-0 Ampthill.

Bad defensive error proved to be the only goal of what was a good, clean contest.

However the Ref and 2 Assistants I'm afraid were the worst I've ever come across, to the point I'm lead to believe had even members of Crawley Green apologising.

He produced a straight red and 5 bookings to Ampthill, nothing to Crawley Green, but there wasn't a single bad challenge throughout the game.

The Ref even admitted at half time that the red card wasn't a goalscoring opportunity and couldn't answer his decision why given when asked.

It's not sour grapes as we gifted them the goal and hold our hands up to that, but to witness officials tonight at this standard officiate in the

way they did was an embarrassment.

I trust you marked them accordingly and that a report will be sent in.

yes i will be i will take it all the way . how they can send a spotty kid to ref a game is a joke he must of been no older that 17 . thats ok if he new what he was doing but it was far from it . with 10 mins gone he sent our player of for tugging at a crawley player shirt 40 yards from goal there was also 2 other ampthill players either side of him o and the ball was in the air . but this was a goal scoring chance . the goal was a massive mistake from our player would of happened with 11 men . but did not help the rest of game . we then missed 5 or 6 clear cut chances so its our own falt . crawley are very poor side . they had a much better side when we first played them .

we got a club fine for £375 for this plus 1 other remark i made . is this right ?

The only thing wrong with what has been stated is your version of events on the night!

As for the fine .. Yes completely out of order , you could say wrong as a manager that you should bite your lip, yes sometimes difficult. You could also suggest the fa should tell the ref to man up, but I reckon that these places are the best places to let off steam, as you don't want to be a bad example to kids watching on the night etc , etc.

I reckon a quiet word of warning should of been ok........ Plus £28 admin.Lol

Must be a very busy person on here!

Mr Angry – That’s a bit unfair, the reason I don’t get to so many games as in previous seasons is that my Mother is unwell and I can’t venture too far afield or go to games midweek after work as it means getting home about 10.30/11.00. Also when I do turn up at games, apart from the odd exception like Hertford Town, I feel like something the cat has dragged in and get nasty looks so why should I bother.

Have you ever questioned why that might be, Rhodes?

No4 - Yes I have, it’s because in the society we sadly live in today people don’t like hearing the truth or anything constructively negative about themselves or their Club and handle it in a defensive or aggressive way rather than taking the comments onboard without any retribution. I could give examples but NeutralFan would probably Moderate them.

Okay here is an example although I doubt NeutralFan will publish it. I’m not sure if you were with the Club then but what happened to Winslow United on their way down to Claremont Road to play Kentish Town in 2006/2007, it’s a straight forward question but you will automatically get defensive and aggressive, that’s my point.
