Bit of news...

Craig Reynolds - Midfield.

An exciting prospect, 24-year old Craig resides in Stevenage where he is employed by the 'Wine Society.' Signed in the last season from Biggleswade Town, Craig has also turned out for Stotfold.

Well his job may qualify him for EFM membership, not quite sure how 2 sub apperences for Arlesley makes him the answer to our midfeild problems, mind you we bypass the midfield a fair bit these days

Mow I am confused

Bringing players in on loan, at a cost, however small, seems to be not a good idea when the club is struggling to get sufficient numbers at games to break even (or so we are told). If this is the case are more players on the way out to allow money to be provided.

If no money is to be paid what does this tell you about the current reserve players, are they considered just not good enough or just not old enough to be worth a chance.

Any one help ?

Well our new player has had 2 sub apperences for Arlsley, I should imagine some form of wage is involved.

Two players who start for Arlesley are Craig Mackial-Smith and Martin Young, one of who has come up from our youth system.

Therefore the question has to be asked why bring in a player who can't get in a team ahead of two players that we deemed not good enough.

This club is falling apart!

The whole thing is a shambles...We have no goalkeeper, where is Derek Brown ? ( and who really cares )two goodish players who presumably get paid are permanently injured ( Smith and Campbell ) another Naylor is a liability anyway....then we take an Arlesey reserve team player on-loan......shambles.

Stayed at home and watched Sky Sports News on Saturday afternoon. Can't say I missed watching City at all. Which concerns me, cos at one time I totally loved SACFC.

This club has lost it, as far as I'm concerned. It's just not the same place it was five years ago.

You can't say I didn't tell you about it ... the reserve game was great value for money.

120 minutes of good football, unforced errors that cost both sides, committed challenges all over the park, a sending off, 4 goals plus the drama of a penalty shoot out and you could tell you grandchildren you were there when St Albans beat Canvey.

All this for £2, what more do you want

I'm only contributing unsubstantiated rumour concerning injured players. I hear that:

Rob Smith is expected to be available for selection next Saturday.

Derek Brown did something to his hamstring getting out of bed on Saturday morning.

Dominic Naylor is waiting on a cartiledge operation at the end of October.

Corey Campbell is still out with his un-dislocated shoulder. He was at the game on Saturday but I have no news. It wasn't the kind of game where it would have been appropriate to ask for autographs in the bar after the game.

Arlesey reserves on loan. Webbo doesn't go to games. Zeal would rather watch Sky TV. Is AFF the only bloke who wants to go these days?

I suppose if he was to be the last chap left (responsible for turning the lights out, etc.) they'd have to make him Chairman. (Queue a fine rendition of: "It should've been me, O lordy, lordy...") AFF just loves putting people down - comes from being perfect I expect. I honestly can't remembering him ever genuinely praising someone's efforts without an ulterior motive. Some things change, some things stay the same.

No doubt abuse will follow, but the decent folk on here will know what I mean.
