Think the FA and the Ryman League will be stunned by this incredibly low attendance figure for a major cup competition between two Ryman Division One North clubs.

 

Thamesmead sound a very poorly supported club, allowing for their recently declared home attendances, and you do wonder how many Town supporters made the trip. At the very least, you would probably guess at maybe 40-50 !!

So Why would that be then ? Too many years in Level 4/5 for the mighty up you lot appears to be taking its toll . Its only to be expected you know :D

Really don't know why the figure was so low old chap, but you obviously do !!

 

Interesting though to note Ryman One North average attendances for the two clubs, plus your own:

 

Enfield Town 205 (4th highest in league)

 

Cheshunt 141 (8th highest)

 

Thamesmead 51 (lowest in league)

 

Our fan base will increase when we move into our new stadium very,very soon.

 

Town fans can't wait !!

Albury, its not dillusion it is just a fact that there were many more there than 44 on Saturday and we are merely raising the point that Thamesmead are clearly reporting thier attendances wrongly.

 

Grow up!

 

Obviously there is an assumption that a mistake had been made in reporting the attendance.

From what Ive seen at Theobalds Lane so far I doubt is delusional , Perhaps Thamesmead counted the gate correctly and you people are just reacting to a poor gate . Good luck in your new stadium with home crowds of about 160 your gonna need it .

The "supposed" arrogance you mention may only be coming from a small minority as it usually is with these things yet we all get tarred with the same brush. FYI i counted at least 50 odd people at Thamesmead not including myself. I for one am extremely grateful to Cheshunt FC for the use of their facilities so far this season and i'm sure many others will say the same.
