Wasnt a 3-1 game thought we outplayed villa first half had a goal deemed not over the line that goes in possibly diff outcome

Banstead 3 Ash Utd 2

 

well nothing happens for 30mins then 3 goals in 3mins. We go 2 up but then we give away a pen (well the ref gives Banstead a pen more like) holding......no problem with that as our defender was holding well outside the area, but the moment he gets in the penalty area ref blows for a foul........he then tells the manager at ht he gave it for holding but where the incident finished (new one to me), but instead of holding out give away a silly goal & at ht 2all

 

2nd half not much between the sides until a 30yard screamer beat our young keeper & Banstead hold on to the points

 

Frustrating, is all i can say

Bet your manager said a little more than "frustrating"!!

 

Banstead scored a screamer on Tuesday night ... wonder if it was the same player

Very even game with little chances as the score suggests, CWU were the better side 1st half, Park better the 2nd then dominated ET and got the single goal that was going to win it in all honesty.

Has anyone heard how the Mole Valley player is who was carried off on a stetcher in a neck brace during the first half of todays game and left the ground in an ambulance! Hope he's ok from everyone at Windsor fc and well done to Mole Valley...a great win today and in my view much deserved!

Very even game with little chances as the score suggests, CWU were the better side 1st half, Park better the 2nd then dominated ET and got the single goal that was going to win it in all honesty.

Would agree with this. Was a game where one goal was goin to settle it. Could have gone either way.

The draw for second round is on Monday 4 sides left in from CCL

Lammas 2-1 South Kilburn

 

Lammas got back to winning ways yesterday after a slight set back on tuesday night. George Baldock partnerd Matt Baxter up front while Steve Willmore came in for the injured captain Ben Whatford. Lammas started brightly and were awarded a penalty and Matt Baxter slotted home cooley. Soon it was 2-0 threw Baldock after an absolute stunning strike to net his 3rd goal in 3 in 4 games. Willmore then pulled up with an injury and Top goal scorer Gary James replaced him with Brunty moving to sweeper. Second half wasn't much action and lammas were awarded a second penalty and Gary James stepped up only to see it saved. Kilburn got a cheap goal 5 mins from time. Big game at home to guernsey on wednesday night.

My first time at South Park FC. Already looking forward to the league game there. Great club and lovely people.

One goal was always likely to win it and I thought SP just about shaded the game.

Our Reserves lost 0-3 at home v Merstham.

Croydon 1 v 1 Cove,decent game of football,and a draw was a fair result.The game was played in the right manner,and the Officials led by Corinne Readett were superb,hence no cards issued.DT 10 has put together a decent side,in such a short time.Likewise John Fowler and Dean Davenport are doing an excellent job in moulding,an ever improving side,from scratch.Highlight of the day the Croydon players stayed in the clubhouse till late,a team bonding exercise where they spent a fair bit of money.Have not seen that happen for a very long time.WELL DONE LADS.

VP, Krooonz, please tell me, what the hell is happening at Camberley ? Thats 5 defeats and 1 draw in their last 6 games. Come on Darren, I know you read this site whats going wrong ?

As no-one else has commented, credit to Mole Valley SCR for a deserved 1-0 win at Windsor yesterday. We never got going but this should not detract from a committed performance from the visitors. Mole Valley's performance was not of a team bottom of the division. And, best wishes to their #9 for a speedy recovery. No-one wants to see players leave the field of play on a stretcher and then leave the ground by ambulance.

 

Molesey 3-4 Chichester. Chichester are next to bottom of Sussex Div 1.

Fitstly, many thanks to everyone that assisted with our injured player and the hospitality that we received Sat at Windsor.

 

Please to report that after several hours and many tests Jake was given the all clear to go home. Today he says that he is feeling much better and fortunately only a bad headache last night.

Was gutted that we threw away a two goal lead, especially SO late and the way in which the second was conceded!

 

However a great performance from the squad and a shown togetherness, a MASSIVE step from previous weeks and also glad to bag my first Knappers goal!! :D
