Missing the plane

Heard from someone at farleigh today that two of their players missed the flight to guernsey,probably the beat atmosphere and experience they will have i'n football and it makes farleighs task even harder now surely what jokers

No, amazingly it wasn't Sam, they went off to get something to eat having met everyone as planned! They're on the next plane and Guernsey have kindly offered to pick them up at the airport. Surely getting on a plane isn't difficult! Maybe we should have invested in 16 sets of those reigns people put on their kids...............

So they definately managed to get over in the end? I must say i was pretty impressed with Farleigh yesterday, in my opinion they performed the best out of any visiting team so far in Guernsey. I know Guernsey were missing some start players but Farleigh made a real game of it, especially in the first half where they could have taken the lead with 2 free-kick which Tardif saved.

 

Again though, Guernsey superior fitness payed off. I remember after about 60 mins the game was stopped as 3 Farleigh players were down receiving treatment for cramp which gave the crowd a chuckle!

 

They were definately hard done by with the first penalty, i was right behind the goal and had a great view of it and i must say it was never a penalty, although the penalty a minute later definately was.

 

Well done Farleigh anyway, I was impressed overall in what was a decent game played in a good spirit.

I agree with most of what you said.

 

Farleigh were never in the game though, yes they put up a spirited performance in the first 15 mins or so but there was was never any doubt of the outcome of the game it was just a case of how many we were going to score.
