Alan, you called our bluff before and nothing happened.

To be honest if you could stump up £50'000 for a new pitch and build a new bar for both clubs fans to use I would actually warm to the idea as the costs for the ground are going up but that's not going to happen and I don't want to watch sh1te football on a pitch that can't handle a groundshare

£50,000 for a new pitch would be quite easy to raise, and while I think you clubhouse is fantastic, I personally would prefer Romford to have their own bar.

Are you still coming this afternoon?

£50,000 easy to raise? Blimey he's moved onto fantasy football now. The boro bonanza has raised about £2000 in just under two years so I presume that's not where any monies would come from or if it is it will be a long wait. As for the groundshare , well if romford can guarantee to patronise our bar to the tune of let's say £500 per home game then I'm all for it, hang on haven't we been here before :biglaugh:

PS I may well pop over to Aveley for the 2nd half when it should be free entry. I can't afford the half price entry and couldn't stretch to a burger or cuppa either. :

£50,000 is a relatively easy sum to to raise through grants, for a club with no debts, and a properly costed project that enhances sport and benefits the sporting community. Its also much easier if grants are raised in partnershop with a local authority. Thats not fantasy football but fact.

Raising £1.3million for a new stadium is a totally different ball game, as well you know because AFCH had similar ambitions not too many years ago.

Oh I see it's just reliant on others and handouts. By implication presumably the £2000 available from the Boro Bonanza is supplemental to the £50000+ you have already secured?

How do you think the stadium Hornchurch was hoping to build was be financed other than being reliant on others, and handouts (grants) a whip-round amongst supporters or Robs 50/50.
