Time to wake up Romford Recorder. We are AFC Hornchurch, top of the league and the premier football club in the borough. Still we don't get the back page which again goes to the minnows down the road. Also the week WE go top the tables were not printed. In future I will save my 70p for a more worthy publication.

If that many people are bothered about Romford FC why don't they bother going to watch them,answer because apart from a few hearty souls no one gives a toss.

Fair play to Romford who I believe have half price entry to other season ticket holders Sunday and free entry to armed forces,nurses,coppers etc but they are doing this because they are struggling to get people through the gate,not because they want those people in the ground

We are also giving free entry to anyone aged sixteen or under (birth certificates not required) and I'm sure our friendly turnstyle manager Lightweight will offer his normal customary cheery greetings to everyone from Hornchurch.

So anyone can get in for under 16,just say you are 16 and they will believe you.

You wouldn't be aware as it was never given the publicity that Romford seem to get but we actually offer free season tickets to under 12's as long as they are accompanied by an adult when applying

Not being funny the paper has steadily crept up in price and number of pages has lessened if u use your savvy estate agents normally have it on a free on a stand from Saturday onwards or if u are up early enough they get a load dumped outside their front door on a Friday morning and it's very dark first thing so help yourself I know wot I'm going to do

Surely they should be back page in the Thurrock Gazzette as that's where they play and from the way the Boro Bonanza is going are likely to stay there for some time :biglaugh:

 

They have made an offer for reduced ticket prices for some at tomorrow's game but they cocked that up as well

To be fair to Lee Power it seems as though someone called kirt is now doing the football and for whatever reason has his head firmly up romfords bottom.

I would say fck the recorder and get our games publicised more ourselves but every time we try to only a handful of fans show any interest which isn't enough

I think that 19 points from 6 games is even out of the reach of Man U/Man City. That's over 3.1 points per game.
