Moment of the day yesterday......Stuart Swift's "PlayStation turn" dragging the ball away from the Rugby player with one foot, spinning 360 degrees then continuing his run!

Danny Burnell is bound to be unhappy BUT Abbey had not started even once all season had he? plus there was no point bringing on Burnell at 3 or 4-0 up. no doubt in my mind barring injury Burnell will still win the golden boot for us

 

saying that unfortunately i cannot see a reason why any of the starting 11 will be changed for the next game unless enforced due to injuries etc.

 

very promising performance and reaction from the players but things change quick and we may be scratching our heads again by next weekend. you never know with Slough but i have a feeling that this is the year for us as long as we hold our nerve and keep it together. the unity in the squad seems much increased than the last few years. COME ON YOU REBELS!!!!!!!!

Like I've always said, players should know that if they come into the team and perform then they'll stay there otherwise where's the incentive for them to wait for their chance? After yesterday's win, playing a team we've struggled against previously, I would start with exactly the same line-up next Saturday. They deserve it.

Would just like to say a big thank you to kev, Gary (horshamrebel), Chris S and who ever else who helped out yesterday (apologises if I didn't know you name) can't thank you enough. Gladly charlee's doing fine, all matters were resolved once we got her inside.. she's definitely not one for the cold!!! but again thank you to every one for there messages. Also apologise for running off the pitch whilst the game was going on to anybody that noticed!!

Good news all round...Thanks Danny for the updates..

 

On the matter of the ref ..and his team ... must say they had a good game ... hardly notice them during the game , and was nice to see a ref talking to the players properly ...and only getting the cards out , when he needed too..

 

The best ref so far this season... did not even book Danny Murphy for leaving the pitch without permission !

O/T but on the subject of Stuart's fancy footwork, is it just me or does anyone else think that guy on X faxtor in the group The Risk ( I think) could be our Stuart trying to break into show bis!!!

A great win on Saturday. Good to see that Steve can use either plan A or plan B to get a good result.
