According to the papers it seems like Bateman might be shaking things up a bit, so could be interesting.

 

Either way, Rugby are on a bad run of form and when teams like that seem to play Slough they normally pull out a result.

Personally, I think that simply having a Plan B for when Plan A doesn't work would be an improvement.

 

Regarding the result, I think I'll hedge my bets on this one, as I think that in many ways we're evenly matched.

i hope he starts with brown at the back we looked much more settled ,and maybe changing the front two around they havn,t been looking too sharp recentlyas for the middle of the park not too sure what we can do there as the style of hoof it up front seems to pass the midfield so maybe a change of some one touch football might make a difference and bring the midfield into play.

I think it's about time for a bit more positivity! We're 4 points off top spot with a game in hand and we have the best defence in the league with the exception of one team. Listening to comments on this forum I think we're doing ok for a team with supposedly no plan B, no target striker, the ability to only play for one half and a clueless manager!!!

 

My hope is that we use the disappointment of the Hanworth game in a positive way to kick on and really take this league by the scruff of the neck and make it ours.

a difficult loss always results in questions and those questions often can block out sense of reality. having said that i believe it is time to give a few more of a chance as we have tended to have the same 8 or 9 starting all season and although we have gone well we havent been so amazing that a lot deserve to sit on the bench week after week.

 

Burnell on twitter hinting he will start on the bench today. whether that happens im not sure but whatever Bateman decides we have to back him we wont get anywhere without that.

So far so good. We're still making mistakes, but we're fairly comfortable. Warrington hasn't been called into any serious action.
