Yes Royston Town do indeed look a good bet as do Tring Athletic (Hullbridge have internal problems at present). Once again some intriguing Essex Senior League v South Midlands League match ups. You must also fancy your chances against Buckingham Town.

On our day I'd fancy us against most but we are missing a few and a local derby is always a tough one to call especially in such a big occasion. I expect Ampthil to come through as well as those you've mentioned

I can see as many as 7 making the Second Round (Royston Town, Ampthill Town, Hillingdon Borough, Biggleswade United, Tring Athletic, Winslow United and of course Haringey Borough).

 

But then again what do I know about football.

Pete, my rant midweek has no bearing over your officiating skills. You didn't put a foot wrong to be fair and most people on here think you're one of the better officials so I'd be delighted to see you back at Lowfield.

 

Cliff/NF be good to see you both Saturday.

 

Brit, I think Bethnal Green must go into the game as favourites but we fancy our chances in a one off game in a cup that holds a lot of history for our club.

 

Some might call it "The Magic of the Cup".
