It's trophy time Saturday,a competition I have always liked since we got to the quarter finals in 2003/04 to be dumped out by a poor Hednesford side with a 9 ft lump up front.

I know we are out the ryman cup and I am not too disappointed with that but it would be good to have a run in this tournament and maybe a nice away day or two at a big conference club,or for financial reasons a big club down at our gaff.

I actually think a ryman prem side could get to the final of this again as the pressures of getting back into league football are greater than ever for Connie clubs.

So how do you feel about our chances Saturday and for the rest of the competition should we progress and there are still places left on the coach

I would say a win but after my prediction last night I'm not so confident lol

I reckon we'll be back to form in the tie and win the game, can't really predict how far we would go as all teams raise their game to get a decent payday so it's really a lottery. When we're playing well, I think we could be a match for a number of teams in the competition.

 

Not bothered about the Ryman Cup - Well done to Cheshunt.

Its the only cup (trophy) that we did well in last season.

Im hoping that we can at least get throught the first couple of rounds which will be good for the club.

A nice away day or a few teams at Bridge Avenue i wouldnt mind at all.
