I am so dejected by this, nevermind!!! Just looking at this, on Saturday I just think changing things around a bit wouldn't hurt, maybe go back to 3-5-2, with Warrington, Brown NBH Woozely, Sinclair Coyne Logie Swift Murphy, Mpi Sonner/Abbey!!! I know I may get slaughtered for suggesting this but I'm just so disappointed with the 2nd half performance!!!

Hanworth Villa deserve to go through!!!

After being in complete command in the first half to being totally out-played on the second, I have to question Bateman's ability to motivate the players.

Hanworth's workrate was far superior to ours. In an FA Cup game with more than enough reason for the players to be motivated, this was unacceptable.

Message to all Hanworth Villa fans who have viewed or posted on this forum over the past few days...

Well played, you deserved it and good luck against AFC Totton. If you play against them like you have done against us over 180 minutes you could well find yourselves in the 1st Round Proper!!! All the best and good luck for the rest of the season...

again im not there but you do get the impression recently that we are not as solid as we were towards the start of the season. if its a squad game maybe it is time for Brown, Abbey, Logie (was he there today btw?) to have more of a chance. lot of work to do between now and saturday to make sure we get over this

big big performance needed saturday to prove we are good enough to take this league. just worry if mentally this will hurt us too much

we still believe in you boys lets go win promotion now. FA cup is gone it wasnt to be we have gone further than most expected but all we really want is to go up. COME ON YOU REBELS

I agree with what your saying Nathan, god, I'm so disappointed... Yet again the players believe their own hype, some of them maybe too good for this level but they need to start showing it... Tonight's 2nd half display was completely unacceptable and yet again no inspiration from the bench, but it won't change!!!

Here's to 3 points against Rugby on Saturday, HOPEFULLY!!!

Seems like the better team on the night won, so no complaints. We've been here before and will be again. Time to get on and concentrate on the league.

Well done to the Hanworth players, we wish them well at Totton. I'm sure the fans will have another "big day out."

Gutted!! After beating Banbury and Boreham Wood, I stupidly expected to win this and already planned the trip to Totton with my mate, But well done Hanworth, fully deserved, maybe we can get to the 1st round next year with Slough being a Southern Premier Division club ?

Well done Hanworth, by far the better team on the night. They wanted it far more than us, and when the going got tough, we were quite feeble. Coyne worked his balls off, too many of the others relied on their reputations rather than graft.

Don't agree they wanted it more, we dominated first half and were well up for it. We fell to pieces after giving away a bad first goal, quickly followed by a second well taken one. Couldn't even pass to each other after that and just could not re-establish ourselves. All shape went and our cohesion only came back when it was too late. I just knew that once their manager got at them at half time we'd see a different game.

Hanworth didn't create the goals by good football, we caved in under pressure. We've seen it before and we'll see it again against such teams.

By the way everybody was quite friendly..........

Hugely disappointed. Not sure what happened as at half time they weren't in it. Talk about game of two halves.

Thanks to super kev for patching up my mate Andy's injury at half time. Hopefully we'll be out of A&E before 1am!

After all said and done I thought it was a good match, not as good as Saturday, but overall the result was justified.

I have read your comments about your team and I feel a little sad that you think they under acheived tonight and that having to work for a living made the difference, get real it's the same mid week as it on Saturday, come on it is non league football.

You guys would do better in doing your club, players and manager a lot better in supporting them, rather than trying to be football managers and slagging them off.

Do any of you know how much effort is put into a match by the players, back room staff and especially the management? no I don't suppose you do, but believe me it's f******g hard and tuff to get a balance and non of your guys from players, backroom staff and management went home smiling tonight and the last thing they need is for you guys to slag them off.

Your manager has now to go home and reflect on tonights result (which is not the end of the world) so spare a thought for him when he is still up at the small hours thinking about the next game. At that time of night you will surely be in bed with no commitments to Slough Town FC the next day, other than logging on the forum and adding more comments he could really do without.

You guys need to change your attitudes towards what comments you place on your forum, because believe it or not you are doing extremely well in your league and have the possibilities on getting promotion so concentrate your efforts on that, by lending support to your team, back room staff and especially the management.

Good luck in your season and I wish everyone who works for Slough Town FC all the very best for their season and I hope it is a successful one. I will after these two encounters look avidly for your results with positive thoughts.

Good luck Slough in your season.

Well done tonight boys. After all the bickering over the last few days it was decided on the pitch, and I'm my opinion, over the two games the best team went through. There is a spirit down at hanworh that is unrivaled in non league football. Amazing support, 650 turned up tonight. We may receive some stick as fans for going over the top, but we are a friendly club who is going places. Terry in goal, the two centre backs, charlie left back, the boys up top (including the subs), jimmy and shaun in the middle and our creative genius joe out wide could and probably should ALL play at a higher level. Great to see your boys at the ranch and to have some banter over the last few days. All the best in the league and for the future!!
