Staines Lammas v Guernsey

Recommended Posts

I'm going to this game :)

To help you find me I'm on the photo in the link below. I'm to the right of the guy in the red top. I've got glasses and a shaved head. At the Bookham match report page.

I hope to meet a few of you at the match :)

This game is huge, a win for lammas and the leagues blown wide open, a win for guernsey would strengthen their title chances. Big week for Guernsey with lammas and bedfont in the space of 3 days.

Easy 6 points for Guernsey Jamie- doubt they'll even concede a goal. Don't forget they are Ryman quality

Should be a good game. To be honest, I think I would be extremely happy with 4 points from those 2 games and even that might be asking a bit much but we will see. Come on the Lions!

Reds the league will not be blown wide open if you get beaten by the likes of Cobham. All well and good beating the ''so called'' top teams, but you need consistancy against lower oppostion to win the league or get promoted............think carefully Reds!

i totally agree with you. i said last night at half time these games are more important than your guernseys and hartleys. last few years thats been our problem, against your higher teams we will be bang up for it but we always let ourselves down against the lower teams. its a psychological problem at the moment that we need to fix! is paul mckenna about or maybe you could be free???

Nice Guy we actually agree on something, you win leagues and promotions by grinding out results and we failed big time to do it last night, saying that I must say Cobham will do very well this season, they are very fit and organised and will surprise a lot of people.

South Kilburn at home on Saturday will be a very important game as they all are, still a long way to go but I don't think the league this season is going to be kind by letting teams lose lots of games and still gain promotion.

We beat South Kilburn 3-0 away but it was a very tough game. They could have been 2 or 3 nil up but we battled and ground out a win with 3 late goals. We had to do the same last week against Bookham. So I agree its the results you grind out and win when you are not playing well that will gain a team promotion.
