Thanks smudge.

yes had a couple of bad performances so nice to come back with a win.

ended horley 4- camberley 3 aet.

Must of been a good game for the spectators.

Yes it was Horley 1-0 up then 1-1 at half time Horley went 2-1 up then Camberley came back to 3-2 up with ten to go. Town made it 3-3 , 2 minutes in injury time. Then got 4th in second period of extra time three goals for Luke Regettii and one for John Eldred. You can see the winner from Luke on Horley youtube site. Thats a double over Camberley now.

South park 1-3 wembley

After good opening 10 minutes and with early goal from park were poor after that and didnt play no-where near what we have been playing recently and cost us. Take nothing away from wembley they worked hard all night and we did miss a pen at 2-1 when we were on top.

Thought Wembley maybe edged it, but didnt think it was the best of nights for the officials. No point going on about it as officials who write on this forum jump on you usually for criticising them, so il just leave it there. Getting a little fed up with 'respect' being banded about the game between players and officials and it only ever seems to be one way. As BAWA said though, take nothing away from Wembley, they worked hard and probably deserved the win. Had our pen gone in, could have been a different game. On to the Vase on Saturday.

Agree 'respect' is one way last nights ref shouting in your face where is the repect there? Well he was being tested last night so I hear if true then they should have something to say to him on this account but probably not.

I will not comment on your loss like you did childishly to ours sat, as I have a lot of respect for most people down at southpark.

Wouldn't bother me HTFC as it bit of banter between two rivals. I know few down horley to an it's only banter. Well done last night good result

Cobham 4-0 Lammas

We started like a train and cobham couldnt handle us and could have put the game to bed in the first 10 minutes with 3 good chances but didnt take them which has been unlike us recently. After that Cobahm were on top for most of the half. 0-0 half time. We just didnt come out second half poor performance from us all over.Cobhams Jamie Lawarence up top was different class and linked up all their play 4-0 probably flattered them a bit but In the end we were well beaten.

Cobham probably the best side we have played so far IMO. will cause teams problems.

Our ref last night will be "disappointed" with his performance - Rideout was kicked all over the place and nothing was done.

Not as disappointed as we are with ours tho!!

Come on, let's have the specifics on the officials where possible. I don't think I've seen any of the officials posting on here give stick to those who do. Sometimes we will give a balanced view on WHY something may have happened but that is in our nature...

From a personal learning point of view, I'm interested.

Mewey,Referee's like players have regular traits, many are cool calm and collected, like Hilary Achenui, and John Ryan have been recently at Croydon Arena. They were in total control of their actions and decisions,a calm chat here,a card there, when they thought it was needed. No hysterics like Mr. F. Collins in the game at Ash,shouting at and thrusting cards in players faces.Which in my opinion loses any Respect that they had for him,now I was not at South Park last night,so do not know if it was the same Referee

What do you mean?

Footy Mad, I would have thought its pretty self explanatory.

As Brunty, said I dont wont to go in to too many details as Wattsy got in trouble last year. There are a select few referees, who are happy to talk to players, stay clam, diffuse situations the correct way. There are then others who, from my point of view, appear to be on a power trip, seem to get a buzz out of winding players up I think (from hearing comments they make to fellow officials), swear at players when telling them not to swear at them (agree players arent to swear at officials, but vice versa?) and im just fed up of it really. No we arent in the Premiership, yes I do love playing football and am enjoying playing in this league, but I just dont understand how the standard can be so different from 1 ref to another.

Mewcenary, ive never met you, however I am sure you have refereed a match ive played in before, so im not tarnishing CCL refs with the same brush and me commenting on the officials last night does put me at risk of sounding like im bitter about the result (im not, they deserved the win) but for what it was worth, I felt I had to say something.

Wembley's first goal last night (which was just over the line incidentally) was not given by the linesman initially, flag down, did nothing, the ref allowed the game to play on, our keeper took the goal kick, only for the linesman to start flagging, because the Wembley players were protesting that much and the fans directly behind him were going mad. In addition, the ref was constantly swayed by appeals all game by the players and not making his own decisions.

Referees obviously wont stop me playing the sport I love, but like I said, felt I had to say something (at the risk of getting in trouble maybe myself).
