The end is nigh for Dale Farm travellers

Recommended Posts

I see that a respected group of former United Nations advisers have accused the UK of double standards in the heavy handed treatment of the beleaguered Travellers, Professor Yves Cabannes, former convenor of the UN Advisory Group on Forced Evictions, is said to be appalled and will be taking the matter all the way.

So these do-gooders think it is okay to assault police and to urinate on them?

Criminals deserve what they get - whether they are rioters, travellers or residents of Knightsbridge.

Or are you condoning criminal acts of violence? As it sounds like you are.

These people are no better than all those rioters that bought shame on all of us. It would be interesting to hear from Rhodes, and all of their other deluded supporters as to why they consider it acceptable for these human scum to live illegally in Basildon, make no financial contribution whatsoever, like the rest of society, and then throw heavy objects at police, with the huge possibility of depriving a family of a loved one, for no other reason than to protect their own selfish criminal human rights.

Its not just Basildon they should be evicted from, but the whole UK as well.

I wouldn't mind betting that there is a death or two by the end of today, Basildon Council will then have blood on their hands

A bloody nose, a bruised back and some smoke inhalation. All caused by the protesters and the travellers. You probably won't hear any grumbles from the police about their knocks received while carrying out their lawful duties.

The travellers have been more than happy to take their appeals to the courts and rely on the justice system in this country which they do not contribute to. Now they should abide by that justice and accept what they have brought on themselves.

He doesn't like it if you take part in a discussion that he starts, he doesn't like it if you take part in one that he hasn't. It's this sort of dog in the manger attitude and the obvious fact that he has no answer to my points without making himself look even sillier (if that is even possible) that makes care in the community look disastrous.

Loosely – Why do you disagree with me on every single thread though, that’s my point, Amanda Knox, Akmal Shaikh and Ali Dizaei to name just three non football related ones and now Dale Farm

Anyway, to get on with this topic without any more paranoid complaints from our care in the community member it is shocking to see that the police are having to risk life and limb to get these protesters (who by the way are determined to cost the good people of Basildon even more money that could be better spent on local services such as low cost housing for legitimately struggling younger and older couples, singles etc or social services who are bound to be called on to aid older members of the public this winter which is predicted to be deep and vicious and in fact these peoples deaths will be on the travellers and protesters hands thanks to their selfish actions) down from this ridiculous scaffolding tower.

Who are these protesters? Are they local hardworking people? Are they taxpayers or feckless wasters probably collecting jobseekers allowance by rota from the site? Doubtful that they have any consideration for law abiding folks rights.

Surely everyone here can have their own voice and do not have to agree with your opinions. Why not keep to the topic?

Back to the scum of Dale Farm.

The police are slowly removing protestors and arresting them one by one from the scaffolding above the entrance.

The clearance seems to be going well. :yay:

Indeed - they are probably known protesters.

I hope they lose their benefits as clearly they are not looking for work.

The police are, for once, doing a great job.

Thank you RC, at least some people aren't allowing this mental case to disrupt the subject.

Just watching it and I can't believe that we in this country pander to these feckless wasters. In other countries they'd be lucky not to be blown out of their scaffolding by water cannon i.e.. USA, Germany, Japan etc...

Ian - I beg to differ, they provoked the violence seen today
