6 A SIDE FOOTIE - BILLERICAY SUPPORTERS V URCHINS

Apologies for not posting this last night but was having problems with my login at home.

In the interests of PR and building a better relationship, Billericay Supporters have been challenged to a 6 a side game of footie by Hornchurch Supporters. The venue to be decided and cost will be in the range of £5 to £10 to pay for pitch and a ref.

Anyone interested then send me a PM and we'll get a team together and give 'em a game.

Isn't Dagenham a bit of a poo place to play? Not on't is it not half way between Hx and Ricky, but it's a bit of a bummer to get tto ingerneral isn't it? (then again, my experience has tought me that all locations in East London are a *** to get to ).

Somewhere in between is much better, but make sure I don't have to drive! (And make sure it sells Strongbow...or has an offie closeby).

Nope. No idea. Brentwood option sounds good as I know exactly where that is. Get off train, make way to offie, hop into taxi, onward to Brentwood Centre.

Gazza, didn't you mention you had a location in mind?

i play at the brentwood centre every wed night. The area that is deignated to 5 a side in the indoor hall is going to be far too small for 6 a side as its cramped with 5. the outdoor pitch is not an all wheather pitch and can be a nightmare when wet. Can i suggest Shenfield sports centre. The sports hall there is perfect for 6 a side and has a balcony that any specators can watch the game from. Its only a ten min walk from shenfield station. I know that the best day to get a pitch there is a sunday afternoon as most evenings they have badminton.

Or you could pop over to our general (I think) forum to find them.

Or I could not be lazy and put them on here myself...

Sunday 26th October

Sunday 2nd November

Sunday 9th November

I favour the 26th, but 9th would be ok. 2nd Nov is a bit iffy.

Who have you got to play? (My camera is ready! )
