Everyone was very helpful in getting two games switched so both of our teams could play this Saturday, three clubs, SSML officials and the Herts FA.

Originally the winners of this tie would have been away to Hadley Reserves. Perhaps Rhodes can enlighten us with another of his assumptions that a club is in difficulties.

Levy reserves were 2 - 0 down at half time but got back into the game with 2 second half goals, Bedmond then took the lead again. Once again the boys pulled two goals back with the winner right at the end of the extra time.

Bishop's Stortford Swifts for us next round anyone know anything about them!?

 

 

Strong side that plays in the Essex Olympic League Senior Division One and have six time been winners and three times runners-up in this competition, the last success being in 2009 when they defeated London Colney Reserves.

They're managed by ex-Stortford player Micky Nunn. They're not the force they used to be but still have some decent players. Look out for striker Ricci Montebello. Knows where the goal is & is quick. Should be playing higher. I tried to get him over Stansted earlier this year.

On another note relevant to this thread. Someone who myself & The Watchful Listener knows well Charlie Henry, made his League debut last week coming on as sub for Aldershot Town v Shrewsbury. Charlie scored 2 goals in the 2004-05 final in Buntingford Town's 3-1 win over Broxbourne.
