Due to a cancellation by Reading Town who were unable to get a team together for a league fixture this week ..

Mark Betts has arranged a Friendly with Reading FC under 18's , with the help of Brian Mc Dermott .. we will treat this as a fun raiser for the cost of floodlights for the training pitch , which we have to rent from the Rugby club at Farnham park... so it would be great to see a few down at Holloways park on Thursday 20th Oct ko 7-45pm ...and help the u18's team..

adults £3 children and concessions £1

cheers chris s

for the under 18's team.

our next acyfl premier fixture will be away to Aylesbury FC on Thursday 27th Oct ko 7-45pm

How did the U18s get on against Reading?. Could not make the game due to work.

Have the U18s Fixtures all changed since 1st released as i appear to have them all recorded wrong on my own calendar?

Please check with the web site .. click under 18 's - Then league table - this then links to Full time web site run by the FA

all information is up to date as best as we can and all fixtures are subject to change ...

but I will try to always give a heads up on the messageboard as its important we get a decent crowd to follow the u18's as

its quite costly to put these games on..... With some of our old team members and some extra visitors the attendance last night was over 80 !

people. (many thanks for your support)

The game last night ...Reading Academy were our visitors and the U18's put up a fantastic game , only losing by 2 goals to 1.

In fact the score line did not reflect the game as the Slough under 18's created lots and lots of chances, only to see shots

and Headers cleared from the line.

However it was a cracking match and those in attendance were well happy with the endeavours of the Slough u18's

and in fact put up a good fight against the academy side from Reading FC

http://full-time.thefa.com then search/link to allied counties

cheers chris sj
