Midweek Fixtures & Results (Tuesday 18th & Wednesday 19th October)

Duck what is that result all about? Did your lads just not take it seriously?

Yeah, think their heads were all wrong - "we just have to turn up to win" kinda nights... Very disappointing

Bentley (0), Jackson (0), Harris (2), Cain (6), Plowright (4), Skeggs (0), Gwynne (0), Hoeness (0), Bailey (0), Bronti (5), Duffin (0)

I rest my case

why do you keep making excuses for royston. They should of bashed bletchley with what ever team they put out. Endacott and edwards having 36 appearances between them....highly unlikely seeing as they have both have been in the first team for the whole time royston have been in the prem. Also i see you have left out jason beck who happened to be on the scoresheet, and he has about 300 appearances just on his own.

But you can bet your bottom dollar there wont be a match report on roystons website....dunno if anyone else has noticed but there always seems to be glaring omissions against the matches they lose!!!!

It appears they want to win the Cambridge Invitation Cup, hence the majority of the first team played on the Wednesday against Cambridge University Press whilst a side of mainly reserves and youth teamers faced Bletchley Town on the Tuesday. Obviously taking a leaf out of the big boys from the Premiership that field weaken sides in the Carling Cup games.

Ha Ha... no way Jason has played that many games with the suspensions he gets every season!

Perhaps my choice of words was wrong, I should have said a number of fringe first team squad players as they had done so in the previous round against Totternhoe (as stated on their website – The Crows made quite light work of beating previously unbeaten Division Two side Totternhoe in the League Cup on Tuesday evening, Paul Attfield made nine changes from the starting team that played against Aylesbury United on the Saturday with only Jack Bradshaw and Ricky Young named again).

As for my name, which is my legally chosen one, it certainly isn’t strange for my life thesedays as my profile clearly states.

At least I have the courage to state my real name and not hide behind an alias, or perhaps you have returned from the grave after your public hanging in 1739.

Off topic but....

Haringey Developmental 1 2 Bethnal Green

Jonno - I assume you were you on a spying mission last night, strangely enough I had intended to go but couldn't get away from work

I had noticed that actually!

Same here, not one report on a defeat. Sad isn't it.

Perhaps the match reporter is in total shock that they had lost. But interesting that all missing match reports on their website are from defeats apart from Wednesday's win in the Cambridge Invitation Cup.

Would you have sneaked in again via the allotments or has your ban from Coles Park been lifted?

Jonno - I was talking to the Bethnal Green United physio earlier who I work with, the game last night ended 2-2 so you must have left Coles Park early, does Roger know as I assume Hoddesdon Town paid your expenses to go on the spying mission

It may have escaped your notice but it wasn't Haringey Borough who were playing Hoddesdon Town last night

Haringey Developmental v Bethnal Green was played at Coles Park.

The question was whether your ban from Coles Park has been lifted?

Nobody mentioned Haringey Borough.

As it was a valid question - Has your ban from Coles Park been lifted?
