It's was like being in the bloody 70's again

Songs like "your gonna get your [censored] head kicked in" and "your going home in a st johns ambulance"

A good side with thuggish fans.

If we are talking about banter how about our fan who said "can't afford to go and see Chelsea" he says this at every game and it's a joke but your hanworth so called fan decided to try and push through the Slough crowd to try and start a fight.

Tell us more Bommie

Well just an observation I made earlier this season that the fans were more interested in drinking than watching the side show of the game.

Still pleased for the club though to get a replay.

Bommie,mr correct in all you say, passion is what Football is about, afraid to say you have none, dear chap.

Does that make it right NLN ?

I am afraid it happens to every club when they have what they consider " A big game"

Never had any trouble with Hanworth and always enjoyed myself when I have been there as a fan, referee or assessor.

Hope they win the replay and it is a big crowd with no nonsense.

No doesn't make it right but Slough fans have a cheek considering their past history.

Also lots of their fans moaning about abuse to keeper etc happens at every game up and down the country - sounds like sour grapes in a game they thought they'd walk

Quite possibly an element of that NLN although not being there we do not know that. It is a common theme though when smaller clubs get big games that an element of trouble follows it. not just Hanworth but plenty of other clubs in the past. It is a shame when that happens.

Spot on Kroons. Boreham Wood spring to mind. No fans at all normally, any big game and all the chavs from the estate turn out to create a nasty atmosphere. In the early AFC Wimbledon days it happened a few times - Ramsgate, Coney Hall, Herne Bay etc, hangers on turning out for the perceived 'big club' coming to town - although we have one or two who don't need much persuasion to get involved.

You have to think if there wasn't to be a replay, how many of these 'fans' would've been at Cove on Tuesday night? Not many.

I was in the middle of it and no one in their right mind can deny the constant racist, abusive, homophobic and threatening chanting from the Hanworth Villa 'fans'. It all came from a group of around 50 all huddled together next to the Slough Town support who were more interested in facing our fans, not the match, and chanting what's been mentioned. I think it's definitely a case of non regular HV fans who were in this group, as if this is how they always support their team, others clubs would have heard/noticed? It's a real shame for the true HV fans there to have to be associated with this kind of unacceptable behaviour. Someone said they usually have 150-200 at home which I can't believe is true?

as i have posted on your forum a minute or so ago,not condoning it if it is as bad as you say but why werent fans ejected or police called.

You can't moan after the event, you as a club have a right to ensure spectator safety and as your fans are saying they felt unsafe Slough town clearly didn't provide adequate measures to ensure so.

Eastside Urchin, why as a club should we have paid out the costs of hiring extra stewards when we were expecting around 100 away fans and we would have had no idea of what their behaviour would be like? You just wouldn't and shouldn't expect it. I bet if I went to any one of their league matches I wouldn't have experienced what I did yesterday. It was that bad, it would have taken just 1 comment or chant back from a Slough fan and there wouldn't have been punches thrown.

That's right Foxyhills sweep everything under the carpet, pretend nothing happened, all is well! Maybe in your head the atmosphere was normal but to the vast majority it wasn't and never will be. To all of you who weren't there and say 'oh it's just sour grapes and Slough Town are over-reacting', well I'd love to see how you'd react if that exact same situation happened at your club...

How is salad TRS??

Well he hasn't got any slimmer :)

There's a name i never thought i'd see on the CoCo forum!

Amongst many sessions I have enjoyed with the big man was a pub crawl around Newcastle, he must have spent more on taxis than beer over the weekend.

Topless sumo wrestling on my brothers stag do in Bournemouth with a rival stag parties 'larger' fella also sticks in the memory for all the wrong reasons.
