The ground looked emptier than the 500ish crowds we've had in the league so far so on that basis 418 seems about right.

i thought it was a lot more than 418. i remember a berks and bucks cup game where the attendance was given as 257, but even if you included the refs, both teams, benches, the people working the bar, working the turnstiles, selling programs,the 10 people in the main stand and the 27 of us behind the goal it still didn't add up.

Wellings average has been well over 400 this season and with slough 120-130 supporters travelling....and the crowd look bigger than at Windsor......

As for our average, that's exactly what it is, an average, and on a Tuesday night with Champions League on the TV we're not a big draw and neither are you. Have a look at the midweek attendances at PVR over the past couple of years - it's not unexpected.

I would question the figure of 120-130, where did that come from? I would have thought between 75 and 100.

I agree with Matt. The support was somewhere between 80 & 100, but to only have 300 home fans? That's a bit poor. Anyway, what's done is done, just seemed to be a bit more in there than what was announced...

How much of it is shared? I thought that home advantage meant that the home side took the gate receipts?

In the cup, I belive it is a split of 45% to each of the sides and 10% to the FA meaning by announcing a lower gate than is there, the home club could potentially be bagging themselves some money, not of course that I am implying this has actually happened in this case.

So if East Grinstead Town brought, say, 20 supporters out of a 380 crowd, then they still get 45%??

And if Godalming bout 5 fans from a 400 crowd, they are still entitled to a 45% cut of the gate receipts.
