No not the Lights at Windsor,or a return to the 3 day week, that many who post will ever remember.

No less than Guernsey's Ryan Zico Black, who will not be playing against Bookham this coming Saturday, due to a hamstring problem. Also not making the trip are Dominic Heaume, and Tom Strawbridge.Call ups for U.K based players,Joe Alvares,Ross Benfield,Glenn Le Tissier,in times of need, for the Community based Club, strengthen their squad.Be interesting to see how they cope without Black,as the 2 times he has not played 90 mins,Guernsey have lost both games. So Predict a Score punters beware.

Why start a new thread when one for the Bookham v Guernsey match already exists? Or is it because smudeg hates to see threads started by other forumites?

Smudge is on commission WFCPE - I think he's paid to write "double-entendre" headlines. It would have got lost in the standard thread. I also believe he's on a bonus for every time he winds up a poster, double if it's a Guernsey based one

Was going to post on the Windsor site about Scarves!!!! but as you already have 2 threads going, did not see the point.Smudge loves seeing other Forumites starting new threads. You obviously like my threads though as you have commented on one,is that not the point of forums, debate, banter,or is it because I mentioned your beloved Windsor, that got up your hooter. At least that part of my fairytale was correct.LIGHTS OUT!!!!!!!!

Smudge what's wrong with picking players with guernsey connections? They are hardly picking them at random!

Alan,,you do realise I will have Guernsey Donkey on my case AGAIN,for BEING WRONG AGAIN.Any views on the non Community based players playing?

My understanding is that these are local lads furthering their education at university, im not sure how this makes them "non comunity based players". I may be wrong as i do not know them personally but to say they cant play for their Island is nonsense if they have indeed grown up or lived in Guernsey.

I think alavres lived in guernsey until recently but moved to the uk to go to university, so he will be living here out of term and may well return here after hes finished his degeree. Like all our kids do as we do not have any universitys.

It's simple that you do not like GFC or you are very jealous smudge.

Shame Smudger didn't pop down to the Bookham-Guernsey match.

Many Guernsey supporters were really looking forward to meeting him !!

The bar-staff had ordered an extra keg of Asahi, and we had an extra-strong indistrial stomach-pump on stand-by, just in case !!
