Ardley utd u18's 1 Slough Town Under 18's 4

 

a good win for the new 18's Rebels ... Nice hospitality and a very nice club too..

 

With Slough playing down a slop in the first half secure some quick goals .. with Ardley scoring

 

2 own goals in the first half .. Rubin with a fantastic strike and Govin with an excellent header put

 

slough 4 up in 40 mins ...however Ardley pulled one back on the stroke of Half time ..HT 1 - 4

 

The second half we were expecting a onslaught with Ardley having the slop for their advantage in

 

the 2nd half , however Slough held strong and created a few chances of our own, the game flowed

 

to and fro , but no further goals were scored and the game finished Ardley 1 Slough 4 .

 

and Slough move onto the next round.

Great result for the under 18s. Couldn't make this game but always enjoy watching them. Hopefully next round will be slightly closer so i can get to the game afterwork.
