Not a bad game with the expected 7 goals, 5 of which came in the 2nd half. Decent crowd of around 150 and bacon cheeseburger top notch as usual!

simply not true NG and to prove it I will say well done to Cove fc they certainly are on a good run in the league however I do predict that tougher times lay ahead as they will have to play against better opposition than they have reccently in the league,my gripe WAS not with the players it WAS with the Chairman and his minions.

that penalty should have been re-taken for encroachment the Cove player running into the box is nearly standing in front of the penalty taker when he hits it. Referees are so inconsistent on that rule.

If you freeze the video at the point of contact, there are 2 Sandhurst players also encroaching. The Cove player (ex Sandhurst player Jack) was closest cos he was quickest, but the Sandhurst sub(14) was 1st to encroach. I note the Asst Ref was on the goal-line, so would have been hard for him to spot the infringments

On a slightly different matter...rumor has it Westfields game vs Sheerwater next week was asked to be played on the Friday night, as was suited for all parties but will now not as the sheerwater manager cheekily wanted half the gate receipts?!?! Anyone know if there's any truth to this and how is that possible?! It's CCL not Premier League!

This penalty should have been retaken as players from both sides encroached. It was the referees call, with the A/R positioned on goal line looking for GK infringements plus ball over line. For me, the referee was positioned a little too deep. That said, the encroachment did not impact the fact that a penalty was given and a goal scored. But the laws are clear on encroachment.

No not you for yourself, Sheerwater wanted half the gate for the club as supposedly a lot of money was made the last time?! And I've heard it was both Sheerwater and Westfield that wanted the game on the Friday night, only sticky point was Sheerwater wanted some ash out of it!!

perhaps experience as a manager or an assistant or whatever Krooner and NG like to call it comes into it GF, as I said before my gripe was with the Chairman maybe he will make another rash decision soon who knows
