A question to players/supporters has your Wife or Girlfriend/Boyfriend ever stopped you playing or supporting your Team for any reason?

 

Only the time she saw a lable sticking out my trackies when walking out the door. She made me come back in and drop my cacks to reveal her best knickers. I had to stay in and do all the hovering wearing them alone until she let me go.

My Missus does know she will get mainly June with me & maybe alittle of May but she knew that when we meet............football has always come first & even more now with the official work that has to be done..............but it doesn't stop her moaning though

I missed the biggest game of them all the Fans Focus v Peacocks game, because she went into labour, totally out of order if you ask me. ;)

My wife's waters broke while she watched a Tuesday night Frimley Green v Ash Utd league match but there was no way I was coming off. And lucky too cos i managed to get us a penalty that put us 0-2 up.

 

I missed the after match drinks to shoot home only to find that it was all a false alarm. Sophie was born on the Thursday after.

My Wife never complains,even said the other day,why don't you become a Groundhopper.I asked why?Her reply 'I Heard they watch games 6 Days a week',I replied 'Dont think my liver could stand it'.Think she was being selfish though,what would I do on Sundays.

Was with a girl for a while started dating during the summer then when football season started I said I had football on Tuesday's Thursday's and Saturday's she said "what!! Every week"?

"yes" I replied. Needless to say It didnt last !

My missus went into labour at the start of Arsenal v Barcelona 2 years ago,I wouldn't go to hospital until the game was over so made her stay in the bath before whisking her down the hospital at full time,45 minutes later nipper popped out and 2 hours later I was asleep,fckng easy!

when I met my wife I was recoving from a broken leg and not doing anything. Three months later I started pre-season and started managing a sunday side, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday nights with Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings.

 

Did the Sunday stuff for 5 years before giving it up. Only missed one game it that time for a family event on her side. Haven't missed a Saturday game in 9 and a half years of being with her, but that is going to change later on this year!
