Ashford's new Sunday U18 team enjoyed a good win on Sunday. Here is Kelvin Poulter's brief report on the match:

 

"Ashford Town U18s produced a determined performance to beat Kingstonian 1 – 0. With just 11 players and Louie Hedges having to put the Goalkeepers shirt on they showed great character and deservedly won the game. The errors from the previous 2 games were distant memories and the difference in the end result was plain to see. The scoreline probably doesn’t paint a true picture as Ashford had many more chances than Ks including a goal line clearance that at one point seemed to sum up the way the game was going. But another very well worked goal crisply dispatched by Jordan Phillips, shooting across the keeper and into the bottom corner. But as the legs began to fade and with the 2^nd goal not coming Ks rallied to create a nervous final 10 minutes, but in the end Ashford held on without too much drama with the defence being well marshalled by Josh Eveleigh."
