I didnt mind losing this one i hear we played a lot of our back up players last night and we rested a few of the first team regulars. We have to concentrate on the league but a run in the Vase won't do our bank balance any harm

Awful ground to watch football from and definetly one to get out of the way midweek. Very friendly club officials though and I felt sorry for them that they got a good hiding from a decent Royston side. They've had attendances as low as 20 odd a few times this season so thankfully a decent FA Cup run has put some cash into the club.

 

Hatfield's #4 had the longest hair I've ever seen on a man let alone a footballer, it was dreadlocked and virtually down to his backside!?!

 

Hoppers & Royston fans seemed to make up the majority of the crowd. M25 free running there & back so only an hour door to door

 

Top division completed now (apart from groundshares) & just Bedford & Ampthill Town to go in Div One.
