you find it hard playing against mates ? when i left lammas an played them i had a stinker until i fouled ben whatford in the corner then was ok rest of game

Not really. If anything i think it spurs you on and considering it was my 1st start i needed to put a good shift in. Although, with everything going on down there there were 3 or 4 new faces i hadn't seen before and i only left last week! Ricky Hodgsen was the only player from last season playing last night. It's a whole new squad so will just take some time to come together which i'm sure it will.

i actually had a chat with your chairman after our battle was a real nice genuine fella that only had clubs best interests at heart shame it seems to be going backwards a little as facilities are one of the best if not the best but as they say it sometimes needs three steps backwards before it takes four forward or somthing along those lines anyway!!

The chairman is a really decent bloke and loves the club so it is a big shame that's its all gone a bit tits up. However Dave Freeman has now taken his place and has Knaphill blood so i'm sure things will sort themselves out.

 

Yeah i'm moving 5 mins from Warlingham in month so it'll be too far to travel to Knaphill 2/3 times a week. I left clubs early as i didnt want to be cup tied by playing for them and didn't think it was fair if i was playing knowing full well i'm not going to be there in a month anyway. Everyone at Wars has been decent so far and i'm settling in already. Have a good side with lots of depth too so no doubt will be up there come May.

 

Looking forward to Saturday against Lammas! Hopefully make amends for the 7-3 embarrasment a couple of weeks ago!

I can only echo this from our experiences so far this season. Plenty of games to go and as far as I know, trophies don't get handed out in October. Good luck for the rest of the season. And if the cup ties work out then I look forward to seeing Warlingham play at Stag Meadow - I used to live in W not so many years back but that's another story
